Jennifer Ellison says she nearly "fell off the toilet" after discovering she was pregnant for the second time.
Former Brookside star Jennifer Ellison has spoken of her surprise at learning she is five months pregnant. Ellison, who is already a mum to three-year-old Bobby, assumed she couldn't have any more children because she suffers from large ovarian cysts. She became suspicious after boxer husband Robbie Tickle told her "You look pregnant," after watching her in pantomime earlier this year. "Shut up! It's just the costumes," was her reply at the time.
Tickle was so sure that his wife was pregnant again that he woke her up with a pregnancy test and made her take it. "I nearly fell off the toilet," she told the Daily Mirror of her surprise at the positive reading, "We've been in complete and utter shock. We'd just come to terms with the fact that we probably weren't going to be having another baby anytime soon - and now we're getting ready to do it all over again. I'm almost five months now, I can't believe I'm going to be having another baby in July!"
Though Ellison is delighted with the news, it mean she'll have to pass on her planned 30th birthday celebrations, or at least do the whole thing sober. "I wanted to get my 30th birthday over with. We had planned to go to Ibiza too, but that holiday's cancelled now!"

It seems as though real life is imitating art, as Coronation Street stars Samia Ghadia and Will Thorp have called time on their relationship, just as their characters did on the show last year.
Samia (who plays Maria Connor) and Will (who played Chris Gray before leaving last November) began dating each other in 2011 shortly after their own, real life, marriages broke down. The two have been an item ever since, that is until Samia began her training for the upcoming season of Dancing On Ice, when the actress decided enough was enough and it was time to call it quits. Earlier this week, it was revealed in the Sunday Mirror that the pair had split up, with a source revealing: "the relationship just fizzled out and ran its course."
However, things may not be as black and white as they seem, as Samia is reported to have been getting rather close to her skating instructor Sylvain Longchambon, who earlier this week split from his girlfriend of two years, Jennifer Metcalfe. Jennifer, who stars in the soap Hollyoakes, was Sylvian's partner in a previous series of the show, with the two striking a chord and beginning a relationship during the show's running. Now it looks like history is repeating itself to the expense of Metcalfe and Thorp, with Samia absolutely gushing about Sylvian in a recent interview with the Sunday Mirror. She said: “Sylvain is brilliant. He is so patient, kind and thoughtful. I can see how you’d end up in a relationship with your partner. You get to know each other intensely and there is a lot of trust.”

Fresh from her runner-up success in I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, Ashley Roberts has decided that she is to put her solo career on ice (sorry) whilst she concentrates on her next venture: serving as a judge on the next season of Dancing On Ice.
Rather than pick up from the largely ignored solo career she left behind to go into the jungle, Roberts has decided that her new calling in life is reality television, and thus Dancing On Ice is her next career destination. The singer/dancer/reality star announced shortly after her appointment on the show: "I’m beyond excited to be joining Dancing on Ice as a judge. To work alongside Torvill and Dean is an honour – they’re legends. We’ve got some fantastic names lined up to skate this year and I can’t wait to see their routines on the ice."
The apparent ice skating guru Roberts will be joining regulars Robin Cousins and Karen Barber on the judging panel, with Jason Gardiner returning after a years absence from the show.
