Daniel Craig doesn’t give a f*** about who next plays James Bond. Despite taking on one of cinemas most iconic roles - let's face it, every man wants to be him and every woman wants to be with him - for four films, with a fifth one in the pipeline, Craig is not bothered about who takes over 007 after him.

While fans and super-fans across the globe are on the edge of their seats and desperate for any whisper of who might next take on the Bond identity, James’ current possessor has revealed he really doesn’t care.

He told The Sun: "The person should do the job and I don’t give a f*** what colour their skin is. 

"It shouldn’t be an issue. [A female] is another story. But why not? Jasmine Bond?" 


 

Craig, 47, stepped into Bond’s shoes for the latest film in the franchise, Spectre, and is contracted for one more outing. But people are already looking to the future.

Idris Elba is favourite to be the first black Bond and Henry Cavill and Damien Lewis are apparent strong possibilities. But Craig’s successor doesn’t concern him.

The eagerly-anticipated Spectre is finally due out on 26 October and also stars Christoph Waltz, Monica Bellucci, Lea Seydoux, Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris.
