Daniel Radcliffe says he would love to go into directing.
Daniel Radcliffe has spoken of his desire to get into directing and says that he often see even "really good" directors assuming they are the only creative person on the set. The English actor, 25, is currently starring in the indie romantic-comedy What If, alongside Zoe Kazan and Jemima Rooper.

During his team working on Harry Potter, Radcliffe collaborated with some of the finest directors in the business - Alfonso Cuaron, Mike Newell, David Yates and Chris Columbus -though still observes that many filmmakers make the same mistakes.
"I would love to direct," Radcliffe told Variety. "I do it in my head when I'm watching other directors direct. 'No, don't say that to them!' I think I'm quite good with people. Part of being a director is knowing how different actors work in different ways. I'd enjoy it."
"The mistake I see even the really good directors make is they assume they are the only creative person on that set," Radcliffe says. "And actually, make-up artists are not just girls with brushes who put foundation on, and costume guys are not just there to stitch up accidents. They are all immensely creative people."

Radcliffe's latest movie, What If, sees the Fulham-born actor in relatively fresh territory and the critics appear to agree that he does the geeky, intelligent Brit thing pretty well. Probably because he's a geeky intelligent Brit.
Nevertheless, the actor's ambitions appear to know no bounds and Radcliffe says he would "absolutely" be interested in moving into the lucrative superhero sphere. "Who wouldn't want to do a superhero film?" he told London Live at the UK premiere of What If. "I went to Comic Con the other day dressed as Spider-Man purely out of childish wish fulfilment as wanting to be Spider-Man my entire life. Absolutely I'd do a superhero film, it'd be great fun."
Radcliffe will next star in Alexandre Aja's fantasy-drama Horns, set for release on October 31, 2014 - Halloween.
