Filmmaker Danny Boyle Is Hoping To Assemble His Trainspotting Cast For A Sequel.

The director has spent years talking about revisiting his cult drug drama, and now he reveals he has commitments from his leading men, Jonny Lee Miller, Robert Carlyle, Ewan McGregor and Ewen Bremner.
Promoting his new Steve Jobs biopic at the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado, Boyle says, "All the four main actors want to come back and do it. Now it is only a matter of getting all their schedules together, which is complicated by two of them doing American TV series."
The author behind the book on which the film is based, Irvine Welsh, published Porno, a sequel to Trainspotting, in 2002.
