Danny Dyer won the soap award for best actor, but then things started to get weird.
Well, it was an eventful TV Choice Awards on Monday night (September 8, 2014) and not just because Danny Dyer was given an award for acting. It was after he was announced as Best Soap Actor that things started to get...weird.

First of all, Dyer took to the stage to collect his prize and seemed confused over whether the award he was handed by comedian and host David Mitchell was for him or not.
"David Mitchell is this f***ing mine?" he asked.
"Can't believe I won this - and he's f***ed without his script, giving it the big 'un. Have a look at your f***ing script. Thank you, Mr. Mitchell. Thank you, have a f***ing good night," he added, bizarrely.

Things got even weirder when Dyer was spotted learning in for a "full on" kiss with 79-year-old Bake Off host Mary Berry. According to the Mirror, the actor was allowed a peck on the cheek.
A source told the newspaper: "Danny's behaviour towards Mary was unacceptable. He may have thought he was messing around but Mary did not look at all impressed. You just cannot put your arms around any woman like that, let alone TV royalty."

Other winners on the night included Sarah Lancashire, who won the prize for Best Actress, and Benedict Cumberbatch. The Hollywood actor sent his parents to the ceremony to collect his award for Best Actor.
