David Beckham is reportedly ''keen'' to have another baby.

The retired soccer star wants to add to his and his 40-year-old wife Victoria Beckham's brood but she's said to be concerned that her age could affect their chances of falling pregnant and even lead to complications.

A source revealed: ''She worries about the risks with her age but David's very keen.''

David, 39, and Victoria are currently preparing for the Christmas holidays, which they and children Brooklyn, 15, Romeo, 11, Cruz, nine, and Harper, three, will spend with TV chef Gordon Ramsay and his family.

The Beckhams will join Gordon, 48, and his wife Tana, 40, and their four children - Mathilda, Megan, Holly and Jack - at his home in south west London and see the rest of their family after the festive season.

The source told The Sun newspaper: ''They all get on incredibly well.

''But as there's such a big group now with all the kids, they'll have a huge do together and see their parents separately.''

Following on from the spread prepared by Gordon's private cooks, the two families will then travel to the Maldives to escape the cold British weather for their New Year's Eve celebrations.

The insider added: ''They'll spend New Year in the sun.''
