David Duchovny has become a household name ever since landing a leading role as Agent Fox Mulder in sci-fi series 'The X-Files', working alongside Gillian Anderson, who would step into the fictional partner role of Agent Dana Scully. Originally running between 1993 to 2002, fans of the show thought all was over until a revival was announced and debuted in 2016, leading to a pair of new seasons; one of which is in the midst of airing right now.

Duchovny isn't happy.

Fox has released a full-length trailer for the upcoming mini-series of ‘The X-Files’.
The new X-FILES trailer isn’t giving much away about the upcoming series but it certainly suggests they’ll be high drama with explosions, military involvement and some pretty intense exchanges between agents Mulder and Scully.

Some fans were rejoicing, while others were a little more apprehensive when it was announced last month that 'The X-Files' would be returning for a six episode miniseries on Fox. But at a press call on Friday to discuss his new show 'Aquarius', David Duchovny seemed more that happy to answer any questions regarding the upcoming reboot and hopefully ease the fears of a few fans.

Prepare for the return of Mulder and Scully! Yes after 13 years away ‘The X-Files’ is headed back to our screens for six special episodes on Fox. David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson will both be reprising their roles as FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully while series creator Chris Carter is also onboard.

According to Variety production on the limited series will begin this summer, although an air date has not yet been set by Fox. 20th Century Fox TV will be producing the six episodes, alongside Ten Thirteen Productions.
