David Hasselhoff can't understand his new girlfriend's Welsh accent.

The 'Britain's Got Talent' judge has been dating factory worker Hayley Roberts since they met during the show's Cardiff auditions three months ago - but is having trouble talking to her because of her strong inflections.

He said: "We have long conversations because she's from Wales and I can't understand her."

However, the singer-and-actor - who earlier this week also admitted he couldn't understand what Scottish contestants on the ITV1 talent show were saying - didn't let the obstacle get in the way of "wooing" his new lover with romantic gestures.

He explained on UK TV show 'Loose Women': "We're just starting. I wooed her, yeah, I was a gentleman. I wooed her by going down to Wales and seeing her. You have to open The Doors, petals on the bed. All that, yeah."

Although David, 58, has been married twice before, he hasn't hesitated in making his new relationship public and would even consider walking down the aisle again.

He said: "I like to say 'Here's where I'm at and if you like we can do this, but its up to you. I like to wait'.

"You have to keep the romance up, but we are just getting started. I loved being married and I have always been a one woman man, despite what people say, and I like sharing success with people.

"It's a lonely business. You go out on stage and have a huge crowd and then you go home and shut the door and that can be lonely.

"So I took Hayley and I said, 'Look here is what I do'. It's been great to have her with me and to just go to a restaurant and do normal stuff."
