Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas paid a heartfelt tribute to the victims of last month’s shooting at Orlando’s Pulse nightclub during their gig in Florida on Saturday. The duo, who are currently on their ‘Future Now Honda Civic tour, also honoured ‘The Voice’ singer Christina Grimmie during the show, which featured a guest performance from Andra Day.

Day joined Lovato and Jonas on stage for an emotional rendition of her song ‘Rise Up’, while behind them on the big screen the word "ORLANDO" was spelled out in rainbow letters as the names and ages of the victims from the Pulse nightclub shooting were shown.

Also included was the name of former ‘The Voice’ contestant Christina Grimmie, who was fatally shot after a show in Orlando the day before the Pulse shootings, in an unrelated event.

The two stars also gifted employees from Pulse Nightclub with free tickets to the gig and a private suite at the show. According to TMZ, around 30 Pulse employees were in attendance and got a special meet and greet with Lovato and Jonas after the show.

After the show Pulse Orlando’s Facebook page shared: “Nick Jonas & Demi Lovato thank you for making the pulse family smile #onepulse #orlandostrong.” On Instagram Jonas wrote: “Orlando you were incredible last night. Thank you @andradaymusic for helping DEMI and I are honour the victims of the terrible acts of violence recently.”
