Dennis Quaid is determined to turn his baby twins' medical nightmare into a positive by warning other parents about the dangers of hospitals on a new TV news special. The actor's twins, Thomas Boone and Zoe Grace, were left fighting for their lives when they were mistakenly given 1,000 times the normal 10-unit dose of blood-thinning drug Heparin by staff at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center shortly after they were born to a surrogate mother in November (07). Quaid and his wife Kimberly spent days fearing their babies were in peril, but both are now healthy - and the actor wants to warn other parents about hospital hazards. He says, "The kids are doing great now, but it was real scary for a couple of weeks. "We really appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers when all this was going on and we really felt them. "Something good is really going to come out of it. We are going to talk about it on (U.S. news show) 60 Minutes in March."
