Former Desperate Housewives star Neal McDonough has been fired from a new U.S. TV show for refusing to take part in a sex scene.
The actor was reportedly just three days in to shooting new ABC drama Scoundrels when he told producers he would not strip for a saucy love scene with co-star Virginia Madsen.
The devout Catholic told show bosses the scene was "inappropriate".
MCDonough has been replaced on the show by actor David James Elliott.
