FAITHLESS star ROLLO ARMSTRONG was stunned when his sister Dido found fame - because he didn't think two people from the same family could achieve chart success.

Although he signed her to his CHEEKY record label, Rollo made an effort not to encourage the WHITE FLAG hitmaker too much, in case her career floundered.

He says, "I thought it was unlikely that two of us from the same family would make it. She had a good job as a literary agent and I didn't want her to throw that away.

"But she proved me wrong. The thing about her is that she's always had good taste, so there's never been any pressure on her to make a dance or chill-out record. It's all fallen into place very easily."

Now Rollo relishes the way both he and his sister have proved their critics wrong.

He says, "The first Faithless review, in NME (British magazine NEW MUSICAL EXPRESS), said that we were clueless. It called Dido, who was singing with us, a peroxide bimbo. Looking back, it's amazing what our little cottage industry has turned into."
