Fact: Dierks Bentley has been confirmed as the new co-host of the 2016 Academy of Country Music Awards. The star will join fellow singer Luke Bryan to take charge of the ceremony after Blake Shelton bowed out of joint presenting duties. Announcing the news in a video announcement on Facebook on Tuesday (15Dec15), Luke says, "Dierks Bentley, I hope you're ready to co-host the 51st ACM - Academy of Country Music Awards with me. Be sure to mark April 3rd on your calendars now." Dierks adds, "I'm excited to announce that I'll be joining my friend Luke."
