Dita Von Teese finds seduction ''effortless''.

The burlesque dancer practices her techniques even in everyday situations and the more she builds up her confidence and the more she surrounds herself with beauty the easier she finds

She said: ''I believe in practising the art of seduction in everyday life. By surrounding myself with luxury and beauty, seduction becomes effortless.''

Dita, 41, also gave some tips for girls to follow when it comes to Valentine's Day on February 14, including what underwear they should own.

Speaking in the latest issue of America's OK! magazine, she advised: ''Black lace. It looks good on everyone. My advice is to buy all cuts of a brief. The thong, the boy short, etc ... It will extend the life of the set.''

Dita - who was previously married to goth rocker Marilyn Manson - also says the sexiest shoes you can wear for the most romantic day of the year are ''black, closed-toe pumps'', and when it comes to lipstick, also stick with the classics.

She added: ''Red lipstick - you can't go neutral - a powerful lip colour is the hallmark of glam.''
