The new #DGfamily collection features images of diverse families, appearing on handbags and T-shirts.

Actress Zoe Saldana has weighed in on the Dolce And Gabbana boycott debate, saying she wont let the designers' comments on IVF affect her fashion choices. Saldana made the comments to E! News during the GLAAD Media Awards, which were held in Los Angeles on Saturday.

When asked if she would be joining the boycott led by Elton John Saldana said, "No! Not at all, that would be the stupidest thing if it affected my fashion choice. People are allowed to their own opinion, however, I wouldn't have chosen to be so public about something that's such a personal thing.”

Madonna has offered her opinion on the Dolce And Gabbana controversy and firmly supports Elton John's views. The controversy stems from a comment made by designer Domenico Dolce in an interview in an Italian magazine, Panorama. In the interview, Dolce described children born by IVF as "synthetic babies". The March issue of the magazine was released on 12th March but the backlash against the duo continues with many celebrities and LGBT groups calling for a boycott of the label and protesters picketing D&G stores.

Singer Elton John has called for a boycott of fashion designers Dolce & Gabbana after they referred to babies born through IVF as “synthetic” in a recent interview with Italian magazine 'Panorama'.

‘How dare you refer to my beautiful children as “synthetic”,’ the 67 year old wrote on Instagram. ‘And shame on you for wagging your judgemental little fingers at IVF - a miracle that has allowed legions of loving people, both straight and gay, to fulfil their dream of having children.’

Fashion designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana - Dolce & Gabanna - were given slightly reduced sentences for tax evasion on Wednesday but a court ultimately upheld the verdict it issued last June. The fashion giants were give 18 months in jail, suspended, for hiding hundreds of millions of euros from Italian tax authorities.

Dolce & Gabbana - Still Tax Evaders

A court found the pair guilty of using Luxembourg holding company Gado to avoid paying taxes on royalties of about $1 billion. The original sentence of 20 months was dropped to 18 months because a statute of limitations applied to certain facts in the case.

The world famous fashion designers, Dolce And Gabbana have been convicted of tax evasion and have both been handed 20-month suspended prison sentences after hiding hundreds of millions of Euros from Italian tax authorities.

The duo - veritable lords of haute couture - were not present at the hearing and a spokesperson for their company declined to comment after a court heard that the designers sold their luxury brand to a holding company, Gado, in Luxembourg in efforts that saved them having to declare tax on 1 billion euros, according to Reuters.

Regarding their knowledge of their company's massive tax evasion, prosecutor Laura Pedio argued that the pair were "well aware that they would reap a tax advantage from this transaction."
