Dolly Parton narrowly avoided injury during a comedy foodfight scene in her new musical movie Joyful Noise after "sliding and skidding" across the floor in high heels.
The 9 to 5 hitmaker plays Queen Latifah's rival in the gospel-themed film and the country star insisted on wearing heels on set, so her co-star didn't tower over her.
That proved problematic during one chaotic scene that had Parton wishing she had a taller stunt double.
The petite star tells Postmedia News, "Well, of course, I had to wear my (high-heeled) shoes, but I kept sliding and skidding around in the spaghetti. It's a wonder I didn't break a wrist or a neck."
