The Wire star Dominic West is set to show off his hip-hop talents after recording two songs with British rap duo Rizzle Kicks.
The actor appears on the tracks Put Your Two's Up, produced by DJ Fatboy Slim, and That's Classic on the group's upcoming second album Roaring 20s.
Rizzle Kicks star Jordan Stephens reveals West agreed to hit the studio with them as he is a friend of their main producer, Ant Whiting.
He tells Britain's The Sun, "We'd mentioned to Ant about our love for The Wire and he said, 'Yeah, we go way back. He lives round the corner. We should get him to do something on a track.' Having Dom in the studio was awesome. Not only did we have a proper laugh... we were able to have some drinks, which was a good opportunity to get to know him and ask him a bucketload of questions.
"When we'd finished watching The Wire it was almost like losing a close friend. Being able to have the star of the show on our record was definitely one of those 'pinch myself' moments."
