Donatella Versace is the face of Givenchy's latest campaign.

The 59-year-old fashion designer - who is the creative director of Versace - has been unveiled as the star of the label's ads in a sneak peak of the autumn/winter 2015 campaign posted on Givenchy's Instagram account.

Alongside a stunning black and white shot of their creative director Riccardo Tisci and Donatella peering over each other's shoulders, Riccardo wrote: ''So proud and honored to introduce my new ultimate icon : Donatella Versace....FW 15 Givenchy Family Campaign.

''MORE TO COME SOON! (sic)''

The 40-year-old designer also featured a series of hashtags after his post which hint that the shoot was styled by French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld and captured by famed photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

Donatella also took to the picture sharing site to post the image and gushed over her ''talented friend''.

She captioned the photo: ''For my talented friend Riccardo. Together we break fashion boundaries today! - DV''

Riccardo is renowned for his surprising choice of campaign stars, with previous faces of Givenchy including actress Julia Roberts and transgender model Lea T.
