After 15 weeks Drake is no longer on top of the UK singles chart with ‘One Dance’. The rapper was dethroned this week by fellow Canadian Justin Bieber, whose collaboration with MØ’ and Major Lazer, ‘Cold Water’ is now at the top spot.

While Drake didn't beat the all time UK singles chart record, which was set by Bryan Adams in 1991 with ‘(Everything I Do) I Do It For You’, he did tie Wet Wet Wet, who spent 15 weeks at number one in 1994 with ‘Love Is All Around.’

‘Cold Water’ hit the top spot with 102,000 combined sales this week, including 5.56 million streams and 47,000 downloads. It’s the first number one for Major Lazer and for MØ's but it’s Justin's fourth time hitting the top spot.

Speaking to Official Chart Company Major Lazer said: "We can't believe we have our first Number 1 and are amazed at the support from the UK and are so thankful for the amazing Because team that we work Major Lazer records with. We have a lot more coming for you this summer!”

‘One Dance’ slipped four places this week to take the number four spot. At number two Jonas Blue and JP Cooper's ‘Perfect Strangers’ holds on, Calum Scott's ‘Dancing On My Own’ has climbed one spot to hit a new peak at three and The Chainsmokers have fallen to four with ‘Don't Let Me Down’.
