Less than a week after she confirmed her split from her third husband Will Kopelman, new details have emerged about Drew Barrymore’s efforts to make their marriage a lasting one.

The 41 year old actress, a former child star of E.T. and star of dozens of blockbusters, announced her split from her art dealer husband Kopelman last week, with the mutual intention to divorce. They have two young daughters together – Olive (3) and Frankie (1).

Drew Barrymore and husband Will Kopelman have confirmed they are divorcing in a joint statement. The couple, who married in June 2012 have two children together daughters Olive and Frankie and have said that the end of their relationship will not take away from them continuing to be a family.

In a statement to People the couple said: "Sadly our family is separating legally, although we do not feel this takes away from us being a family. Divorce might make one feel like a failure, but eventually you start to find grace in the idea that life goes on."

Drew Barrymore has reportedly split from her husband of nearly four years, art consultant Will Kopelman. The couple, who married in June 2012 have two children together, daughters Olive and Frankie and are said to want to “remain close” for the sake of their family.

A source told the New York Post's Page Six: “They’ve been having some difficulties, but they remain close for the sake of their kids.” Another source added, “Drew had a very rebellious and wild childhood, with no family around her, and while she is a very different person now, and a great mother, some of that can stay with you.”

The Super Bowl XLIX was all anyone could talk about over the weekend - and it wasn't just about the epic win of the New England Patriots over the Seattle Seahawks. As per usual, this year provided some pretty hilarious highlights, most notably from 'The Tonight Show''s Jimmy Fallon.

On Tuesday (July 29th), Drew Barrymore's paternal half-sister, Jessica, was found dead in a car after what was believed to be a possible overdose, but according to her brother this would have been accidental as she would have not have purposely taken her own life.

The former child star may have hoped to conceal her bump, but she wasn't able to out-wit some of the more eagle-eyed reporters on the scene.

This year seems to have been all about celebrity babies and pregnancies and while Drew Barrymore might be a bit late to the party, here she is with some exciting news of her own. Amanda Seyfried is allegedly dating actor Justin Long. Sources, speaking to US Weekly, say the couple were seen together at the Lovelace premiere, the recently released film in which Seyfried stars. The source, who was allegedly at the premiere, said "they weren't making out or anything like that, but they were just inseparable during the event. He hung out when she talked with others" and that "Justin stayed close to Amanda all night."

Barrymore is the cover girl of September's edition of Instyle magazine and in an interview with the magazine, she shared her feelings on motherhood. When asked how she felt about parenting she said, "I have anxieties about how much I'd like to get it right, making sure I provide her with an environment that's safe, nurturing, and loving."  She continued by saying this environment should also be "consistent and grounding" and "silly and free".

Kristen Wiig and Fabrizio Moretti appear to have parted ways after a year and a half of dating according to sources at Us Weekly.

The 'SNL' star and The Strokes drummer revealed themselves as a couple to the media at the beginning of 2012 after speculation arose from the pair being spotted canoodling at a Black Keys concert at the end of 2011.

But, for currently unknown reasons, the pair have decided to split though Us Weekly insists the situation is still friendly. 'It was very amicable and they will remain friends', a source told the publication. It wasn't exactly a major long-term relationship, but the separation is a shame nonetheless as it was only a year ago Kristen declared to Marie Claire, 'I'm happier than I've ever been and I feel very lucky right now', and thus adding, 'Where I am now. Who he is. Those are the two big ones', (we're guessing 'he' is Fab).

The focus on Hollywood actor Adam Sandler has rapidly switched from last night's joyous Grown Ups 2 premiere in New York to the latest news that he was attacked by a cheetah whilst on African safari with his family. Like most living creatures, the sight of Sandler must have irritated the furry wildcat who seemingly went in for the kill, leaping upon the Jack and Jill actor's back as the 46 year-old tried to stand up in surprise.

Drew Barrymore is putting her fancy Santa Barbara-county estate house up for sale – and it’s going to cost you a pretty penny if you want to get a hold of it. According to E! News, the actress – who is also owner of Flower Beauty and Barrymore Wines – is putting up the mansion for a whopping $7.5 million.

Barrymore famously married Will Kopelman there and E! Online reckon that property is definitely one for lovers whether be young and old, thanks to an apparently inviting design and walking pathway that trails through the lush grounds, gorgeous gardens and expansive lawns. They should take up cricket. Here’s some more bragging rights: the home also includes a separate guest apartment in ADDITION to its six bedrooms and eight baths, the whole thing spread out over an impressive 6,000 square feet. 

Barrymore is set to star alongside goofy comedy clown Adam Sandler in the film Blended. The film centres on a couple whose disastrous blind date finds them at a family resort with their children from previous marriages. Sounds like an utter hoot to us. Also among the cast are Terry Crews and Kevin Nealon, the former a regular on Saturday Night Live for a time. Filming begins later this month, according to Yahoo! Movies.

There was dancing and there were stars – of the literal kind – as former Dancing with the Stars contestant Melissa Gilbert got hitched to Thirtysomething actor Timothy Bushfield on Wednesday, April 24. The couple opted for an intimate ceremony. The pair tied the knot "in a private ceremony at San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara on April 24," Gilbert's rep confirms to People Magazine.

Gilbert (48) is probably best known for her role on “Little House On The Prairie”. Her beau has some impressive TV credentials as well, having appeared on Blue Bloods, Law & Order and The West Wing. Gilbert and 55-year-old Bushfield broke the news of their engagement back in December and, after just six months, the pair have opted to tied the knot. Both have been married twice before, but they say third time’s the charm, right? Gilbert is also a mother of two, while Bushfield has three children from previous marriages.

Gilbert opted out of the traditional white gown and instead went for a red number with a classic cut – a perfect complement to the warm spring night of the wedding. This isn’t the first high profile event, held at Ysidro Ranch. Over the years, the luxury hotel has played host to a number of celebs, from Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman, who had their rehearsal dinner there, to Hillary Duff, who chose the place for her wedding night.

Gwyneth Paltrow has taken the crown from Beyonce as People’s most most beautiful woman of 2013. It’s the fourth time the 40-year-old actress has been featured in the special “Most Beautiful People” issue of the magazine, but she takes the top spot for the very first time. Paltrow, who is a mother of two, claims it is all due to her five-day-a-week workout regimen and her commitment to staying healthy.

"It makes me look younger and feel strong," Paltrow told the magazine. "When I first started, I thought, 'I'll never be good at this. This is a nightmare!' But now it's like brushing my teeth, I just do it."

This news comes right before the release of Iron Man 3, in which Paltrow reprises her role as Pepper Potts – a character, who is meant to be not only younger than her, but also quite active. The role looks to be physically demanding, so whatever Paltrow is doing, it’s obviously working.

Drew Barrymore revealed that she grew a goatee during her pregnancy.

The actress gave birth to her baby girl Olive last year and has been opening up about the experience of pregnancy and motherhood. Her recent comments about balancing motherhood with a career, but this time the actress talked about a topic that’s probably more unifying for mothers-to-be: the hormone spikes. The odd bouts of facial hair and red spots might not sound like the most appealing thing ever, but they are perfectly normal, as hormones go rampant during pregnancy. And anyway, the fuzz usually goes away after just a couple of weeks. But kudos to Barrymore for being this open about the issues she went through.

The 38-year-old reveals to In Touch magazine, "I got a wonderful little goatee, and it was red! I also got hyperpigmentation on my cheeks." Unlike some of her fellow actresses, Barrymore hasn’t instantly gotten back into superhuman shape either. "I'd rather kill myself than get into a bikini right now!...I take care of myself, but I'm never going to be the person who talks about diet and exercise. I would fail that conversation!"

I think some things fall off the table. The good news is, what does stay on the table becomes much more in focus and much more important.”

At 38, it seems as though Drew Barrymore does have it all. She has her daughter, two businesses, and (presumerably) a huge wealth due to her decades of Hollywood acting work. But for her, it’s not all that simple.

“I can’t and I don’t,” Barrymore said at Lucky‘s Fashion and Beauty Blog Conference Thursday in Los Angeles on that subject. “It sucks when you’ve worked really hard for certain things and you have to give them up because you know that you’re going to miss out on your child’s upbringing, or you realize that your relationship has suffered.” Barrymore could, theoretically, take most jobs in the industry right now. She could even turn her hand to a different art as many actors do in their 30s/40s. But for Drew, that’s not an option right now. “I can’t direct right now because I would miss out on my daughter. It was heartbreaking to let it go, but it was a clear choice,” Barrymore explains. “I was raised in that generation of women can have it all, and I don’t think you can. I think some things fall off the table. The good news is, what does stay on the table becomes much more in focus and much more important.”

“The work-at-home component is brilliant,” adds Barrymore. “I was doing all my business meetings between 12 and 2 because that’s when my daughter was napping, and it helped tremendously!"

Drew Barrymore was reliving her childhood this week, by taking baby daughter Olive to a pizza place she used to frequent as a child star. In one of only a handful of post-birth sightings of the actress, she and husband Will Kopelman hit Los Angeles' Spago restaurant for lunch.

So she went for a slice of pizza with her family, big deal, we hear you thinking.  True enough, though Spago holds a little piece of Barrymore history. "She's been coming in since the 'E.T.' days with her mom, for Wolfgang's pizza," a source told the Los Angeles Times of Barrymore's love for the signature dish. The happy couple reportedly shared photos of their new daughter when chef Wolfgang Puck visited their table. Though pizza might be in the Barrymore family fabric, it was another guilty pleasure that Drew gorged on during her pregnancy. "I loved cheeseburgers," she told People magazine of her cravings. "I wanted nothing to do with vegetables."

The actress has a pretty comfortable life ahead, what with her motherhood, production company Flower Films and beauty collaboration with Wal-Mart, though she insists she can't wait for young Olive to grow up. "I can't wait to pick her up from school - just being in the line of cars when she gets out. I want her to live a life where she knows we will be there. That is everything to me. That is what I wanted most when I was a kid, and it's what my kid will have."

Drew Barrymore’s new baby daughter Olive is only a few weeks old but she’s already a cover star. The ET actress and her new born baby are the stars of the latest issue of People magazine, in which Drew talks about the joys of motherhood and becoming a parent, with her partner, art consultant Will Kopelman.

“I couldn’t eat or sleep for two weeks, I was just so nervous,” she told the magazine and added “I really wanted a wonderful traditional home for my kid," she says. "Will comes from a strong family, he provides a strong family ... It just makes me so emotional because it's like a miracle.” Barrymore is clearly very much in love (as you would hope!) with Kopelman, whom she married in the summer but she explains the love that she has for Olive has given her a whole new take on the notion of love: “You have the highest highs and yet you're facing the biggest fear of, 'How do I keep someone alive?'” and explains that nobody can really prepare you for the extra responsibility of motherhood.

Olive’s a lucky baby having such a talented mother, too; apparently one of Drew and Will’s favorite ways to get little Olive to smile is to sing ‘Good Morning’ from Singin’ In The Rain. “It's like the biggest crush I've ever had in my life!” gushes Drew. We look forward to seeing more snaps of Olive as she grows up!

Forbes’ rich lists are always a joy to behold each year, aren't they?. Oh, how we rejoice, with ne’er a hint of jealousy, to learn of the many millions of dollars that our favorite (or not, as the case may be) stars have earned in the previous 12 months. OK, let’s be honest. Those lists make us mere mortals sick with envy, right? As the global recession firms up its grip on our dwindling cash reserves, it sickens us to learn of the amount of money these celebrities earn. And what’s worse is the way that they are celebrated for it, with no question of what the hell one person could possibly need all that money for (yes, Oprah Winfrey, we ARE looking at you).

How refreshing then, that Forbes should also point out that many of these celebs are barely worth the money we’re paying them. Bad news for Eddie Murphy, then, who’s been named as the top of their list of over-paid actors. This isn’t just based on opinion of course – though frankly, even it were, you’d probably find Murphy up the top of the list; after all, he’s hardly made any movies worth watching since Dreamgirls and that was six years ago. Forbes look at how much an actor is paid and then compare that to how much money their movies bring in. And Eddie’s currently scoring a rather paltry $2.30. Not exactly a great return, there.

That said, he’s still doing a lot better than Drew Barrymore did last year, whose movies earned just 40 cents for every dollar she was paid. Now, we don’t need to sit through an economics lesson to know that those numbers just don’t add up. Lucky for Drew, she’s out of the top ten this year.

One of the big events of the weekend was the LACMA Film + Art Gala which saw some of the great and good of Hollywood in attendance to raise a glass in honour of the director Stanley Kubrick and artist Ed Ruscha. Cameron Diaz, Evan Rachel Wood, Robert Pattinson, Will Ferrell and Salma Hayek were just some of the names there for the event which cost between $5000 and $10000 a ticket.

Drew Barrymore's baby that she and her husband of three months, Will Kopelman, welcomed into the world last week, has been named Olive Barrymore Kopelman. Olive was also the name of the animated reindeer that Barrymore voiced in the 1999 movie entitled “Olive the Other Reindeer”. The endearing character and film that Barrymore's daughter seems to be named after follows a Jack Russell who is convinced she can take the place of Blitzen the reindeer to ensure Christmas can arrive for all.

Olive is Barrymore's first child, but Kopelman is her third husband. Having been married three months she's well over the half mile-stone of the five months her second marriage to comedian Tom Green lasted.

The stars of 'Charlie's Angels' - Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu - are apparently so close to and comfortable with director McG that they once stripped off for him. McG, who's real name is Joseph McGinty Nichol, explained the incident when his leading ladies stripped in the back of a van while attending the Super Bowl of Motorcross.

The director recalled: "They're all very free with their physicality. They've all seen me naked, I've seen them naked. That's how we get down. We got a big limo van, put on old Motley Crue records, and Drew and I stripped down. It's sort of fabulous the way we all trust on another, most particularly Drew. Drew is very into the body, very natural. It's a splendid thing."
