Duran Duran kept plans for their supermodel video top secret over fears another band would steal the idea.
Naomi Campbell, Helena Christensen, Cindy Crawford, Eva Herzigova and Yasmin Le Bon donned the group's trademark suits to play the 1980s icons in the promo for new track Girl Panic!
The rockers worked hard to keep their video under wraps until it was completed - and frontman Simon Le Bon has revealed the reason for the secrecy.
He tells British morning show Daybreak, "It was one of those ideas you were worried some other band might get wind of and try and do it before we did, so we really had to work very hard to put it together."
Campbell mans up to play Le Bon in the promo, and bass guitarist John Taylor explains, "Naomi was the frontman, that's for sure. There was no way you could ask Naomi to be the drummer or the bass player. If she was going to do it she had to be the star."
Le Bon adds, "She learned the words of the song - now that is an incredible thing. It's hard enough for me to learn the words to the song and I wrote it. When we saw her doing the performance... it was magnificent."
