Priyanka Chopra has vowed to stay in touch with her 'Baywatch' co-stars because she had a bundle of laughs shooting scenes with Zac Efron and Dwayne Johnson.
Priyanka Chopra has vowed to stay in touch with her 'Baywatch' co-stars.
The 34-year-old actress plays the role of Victoria Leeds in action comedy, and the star had so much fun working with fellow actors Zac Efron and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson she wants to continue their friendship even now filming has finished.
Speaking about the cast of the upcoming movie, which is set to be released in May this year, the brunette beauty said: ''It's a really funny movie - I was laughing all the time while I filmed it. Dwayne Johnson is such a gentleman and one of the nicest people I've met. He's so hard working - Zac Efron is too. It was a lot of hours in the sun and water, and wonderful to see such a professional bunch of people have a great time.

The film marks his first role voicing an animation.
After conquering movie genres from action to comedy, Dwayne Johnson is finally getting around to voicing an animated character in Disney's new hit Moana. And what he liked about this film is the way it avoids the usual stereotypes of your average animated Disney movie.
Dwayne Johnson plays Maui in 'Moana'
"There is no love interest. And there's no damsel in distress character in here. She represents so many 15, 16-year-old girls out there," he says of the title character, who reminds him of his own 15-year-old daughter. "She's ambitious and has a really strong point of view. She wants to tackle the world. She loves tapping into her own identity and putting me in my place!"

The first publicity shots of the 2017 follow-up to 'Jumanji' showed Gillan dressed in what she called "child sized clothes" - but said that all would become clear.
Former ‘Doctor Who’ star Karen Gillan has replied to criticisms that the first promotional shots from the new Jumanji movie are sexist because of the (extremely) tight clothes she’s wearing.
The new movie, which has been in production for the last four years, is intended as a sequel to the 1995 family favourite movie of the same name. Its release is currently set for July 28th, 2017 and work on the project has accelerated considerably in the last few months.

Gillan has been cast in the upcoming film after a long search to fill the female role.
Dwayne Johnson has announced that he’s cast former ‘Doctor Who’ star Karen Gillan in the upcoming Jumanji movie. Gillan joins the cast alongside Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart and Nick Jonas, in what’s been described as a ‘continuation’ of the original 1995 film.

Here's a snippet of what to expect in the near (and not so near) future.
Walt Disney Pictures have been having a field day with the amount of fairytale re-makes and endless sequels being released and announced recently. No doubt one of the most prestigious film companies in Hollywood, being nearly 100 years old, the unit and its studio parent Walt Disney Studios are responsible for some of the greatest classics ever produced - but what can we expect on our screens in the next 5 or so years?
The Jungle Book is set for release next year
Everyone's excited to see Emma Watson and Dan Stevens in the 2017 live action re-make of 'Beauty and the Beast', and we've already received a teaser for Jon Favreau's 'The Jungle Book' starring Scarlett Johansson, Idris Elba and Bill Murray. But did you know Disney are also re-launching the likes of 'Mary Poppins', 'Winnie The Pooh', and 'Pinocchio' with a script from Peter Hedges? As for sequels, 'Toy Story 4' is a no-brainer, and 'The Incredibles 2' and 'Frozen 2' already have a buzz about them, but what about 'Wreck-It Ralph 2', 'National Treasure 3' and 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales'?
14-year-old Auli'i Cravalho from Oahu, Hawaii opens up about being cast in her first ever acting role as the voice of Moana in the upcoming animated Disney film of the same name, which has been directed by Ron Clements and John Musker and co-stars Dwayne Johnson. The movie depicts a young explorer on her way to a mysterious island with her friend, the demi-god Maui.

Dwayne Johnson A.K.A. The Rock is officially a hero after rescuing one of his puppies from drowning over the Labor Day weekend.
Dwayne Johnson proved he’s as much a hero off-screen as he is in the movies. The 43-year-old American actor shared a picture of himself teaching his two new French Bulldog puppies, Brutus and Hobbs, to swim after one of them nearly drowned.

The former teen star and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson will star in the big screen version
Who doesn’t like 1990s Baywatch complete with Pamela Anderson’s audacious curves and David Hasselhoff’s oddly attractive chest? Well it seems that Zac Efron may not with the actor, who is involved with a film reboot of the franchise, explaining that the new venture will be nothing like its predecessor.
Zac Efron is rating the new Baywatch movie R for Raunchy
After news broke of the former High School Musical actor’s involvement with the project, Efron told Reuters: "It’s going to be R-rated and it’s going to be badass."

The Rock clipped somebody's wing mirror on the way to the set of his new movie 'Central Intelligence' back in May, but he managed to charm his way out of it.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson was fortunate to get away pretty lightly when he hit another car a few weeks ago after the owner of the other vehicle refused to accept payment – because he was a huge fan of the actor!
The Furious 7 and San Andreas star took to Instagram on Monday (June 16th) to tell followers about the fender bender, in which the rock clipped the parked car’s wing mirror with his truck. “Here's a fun story to start your week off...” he writes. “I'm driving to set in my pick-up truck - music blasting - I'm singing away like I'm having a one man party in my truck - then I hear a loud BANG.”
'Jurassic World' has knocked it out of the park, passing the $200million mark in its opening weekend in America.
We all knew it would be big. Bring back the Jurassic Park franchise after a gap of 14 years, add Chris Pratt and a fearsome new dinosaur into the mix, and push the Steven Spielberg connection (albeit as executive producer), and Universal has undoubtedly got a hit on its hands.
Chris Pratt: now one of Hollywood's most bankable stars
But it's not until after Jurassic World's opening weekend that anyone knew quite how big it would be. The film has debuted in the US with a whopping $204.6million, doubling the studio's original weekend estimate, Box Office Mojo reports.

The long-awaited fourth film in the 'Jurassic Park' franchise is smashing expectations at the US box office.

The star-studded special was announced during Saturday night’s Spike TV Guy’s Choice Awards.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson had a very special announcement during Saturday night’s Guy’s Choice Awards on Spike TV, as the action star unveiled his latest project, a star packed variety show titled 'Rock the Troops'. The show, which will air on Veteran’s Day next year, will entertain and support U.S. troops stationed overseas and will be filmed on location at a military base to be announced soon.
Dwayne Johnson will be rocking the troops next Veteran’s Day.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly backstage at the awards Johnson explained, “It is so important to me to give back to the troops. I really want to create something special for our boys and girls who are overseas and hopefully we do such a good job that we can do it again and again. I have military in my family, some vets and two Navy SEALs. That was the genesis of that.”
Horror takes on comedy in cinemas this weekend, but there's no clear winner based on Friday's estimates.
As ticket sales for Dwayne Johnson's San Andreas cool off a little, two very different films are vying for the number-one spot this week: the third (but probably not the last) instalment of the Insidious horror series, and Melissa McCarthy's crime comedy Spy. And they're neck and neck after one day in cinemas according to Box Office Mojo - Insidious has made $10.4million, while Spy is slightly behind with $10.25m.
Lin Shaye (the one on the right)
The directorial debut of actor-writer Leigh Whannell, Insidious: Chapter 3 has received a warmer critical reception than many people expected, but its opening-day haul is roughly half what the second film in the series made in its first 24 hours, meaning it will likely end the weekend with a considerably lower total than Chapter 2's $40.3m.

After dominating the box office at the weekend with San Andreas, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is already eyeing his next big screen role which looks set to be in a remake of 80s cult classic, Big Trouble in Little China.
Johnson is currently riding high at the box office with San Andreas.
According to The Wrap, Johnson is already in talks to star in and produce the remake, which will be scripted by X-Men: First Class writers Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz. The film will be produced by 20th Century Fox, who are yet to comment on the rumours.
Dwayne Johnson has done it again at the box-office.
The earthquake disaster movie San Andreas has stormed the U.S box office, taking $53.2 million to further establish Dwayne Johnson as one of the most bankable stars in Hollywood. San Andreas knocked last week's number-one, Tomorrowland, into third place, with Pitch Perfect 2 in second.

Let The Rock teach you a thing or two about earthquakes.
This year’s recipe for a successful movie really has only one ingredient: The Rock. I don’t know when a former WWE wrestler-turned-comic-relief-go-to became The Guy to call for a blockbuster project, but it is what it is. Case in point: San Andreas, which scored an easy victory at the box office this weekend.
The Rock is here to save everyone (well, a couple of people anyway.)
With $53,2 million in domestic earnings, the earthquake disaster flick brought the thunder (or the shake, if you will) to the box office over the last weekend of May. According to Forbes, the movie went above and beyond early tracking predictions.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson will certainly be this weekend’s box office champ after Bradley Cooper’s ‘Aloha’ bombs.
After taking a massive $18.2 million on Friday, including $3.1m after Thursday previews, earthquake disaster movie San Andreas, starring Dwayne Johnson, looks on course to take $48 million this weekend. The disaster flick is way ahead of Bradley Cooper rom-con Aloha which also opened this weekend and suffered dismal reviews from the critics.
Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson stars in disaster flick San Andreas.
According to Forbes, San Andreas crushed the competition on Friday and is now on course for a weekend debut as high as $48 million, with audiences giving the movie a resounding thumbs up. It seems US audiences can’t help but be enthralled by the idea of The Rock taking on an earthquake and the box office receipts will speak for themselves.
Melissa McCarthy made a name for herself in 'Bridesmaids', and is now getting a chance to hold a movie up on her name alone.
Melissa McCarthy's new action-comedy 'Spy' marks a leap in her career from supporting goofball (she was Oscar nominated for 'Bridesmaids') to co-lead (alongside Sandra Bullock in 'The Heat') and now to carrying a major blockbuster on her own shoulders. It's no coincidence that all three of these movies are directed by Paul Feig, a filmmaker who has long thought that more films should be centred on strong, funny women.
Melissa McCarthy in 'Spy'
McCarthy grew up in Illinois, and describes her family as "a bunch of funny men who think women are really funny. I didn't grow up with a sense that people thought any differently."

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has been on fire this summer, with multiple box-office smash-hits and a Guinness World Record - where can it go from here?
Dwayne Johnson has already conquered the 2015 box office with 'Furious 7', and now his next huge blockbuster 'San Andreas' is rumbling into cinemas. He also just set a Guinness World Record by taking 105 selfies in three minutes at the film's premiere. Clearly life is good for the 6-foot-4 former wrestler, who at 43 shows no sign of slowing down.
Dwayne Johnson and Carla Gugino in 'San Andreas'
Johnson enjoyed the challenge of making 'San Andreas'. "It's been a long time since there had been an earthquake movie - 1972 was the last Earthquake movie," he says. "There's an expectation, so we want to meet that expectation in terms of heroic characters across the board, all of them having the core of heart. But we also wanted to exceed the expectations too."
Continue reading: Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Is On A Roll With 'San Andreas'
Set up as an old-style disaster movie with only a fraction of the plot, this earthquake action adventure is preposterous enough to just about work as a guilty pleasure. Everything else about the film is simply absurd, from the fake science to the simplistic family dynamic that strains to hold the story together. But it's definitely a big-screen spectacle, and Dwayne Johnson was made to fill the big screen.
He plays Los Angeles Fire & Rescue chopper pilot Ray, who is going through a divorce from Emma (Carla Gugino) after the death of his young daughter. Now his older daughter Blake (Alexandra Daddario) needs help moving up the coast, but Ray has been called to respond to a freak quake in Nevada. So she travels instead to San Francisco with her mother's millionaire boyfriend (Ioan Gruffudd). Then jittery Cal Tech scientist Lawrence (Paul Giamatti) works out that this temblor is heading for L.A. and will move up the coast to San Francisco, perhaps creating the biggest seismic event the world has ever seen. As he issues urgent warnings, Ray rescues Emma from a collapsing L.A. skyscraper, and they both head north to save their daughter. Meanwhile, Blake has teamed up with sexy Brit Ben (Hugo Johnstone-Burt) and his perky little brother Ollie (Art Parkinson) to survive the chaos in San Francisco.
Despite the filmmakers' stated goal to recreate a classic disaster epic like The Poseidon Adventure (1972) or Earthquake (1974), this film doesn't bother to feature an ensemble cast with complex intertwined storylines. Instead, it heaps all of the drama onto Johnson's beefy shoulders. He has more than enough charisma to hold it together, even if his one big emotional scene feels a bit, well, stony. Everyone else provides a masterclass in panic-stricken acting, running and screaming and fearing for everyone's lives even though it's clear from the start that very few characters will die. Hundreds of thousands of anonymous digitally rendered victims perish, but the movie doesn't bat an eyelid about them.

Dwayne Johnson connects with 'San Andreas' character on many levels.
Dwayne Johnson opens up about how events in his personal life helped him connect to the problems of single father rescue pilot Ray Gaines in his new earthquake thriller 'San Andreas'; his second movie with director Brad Peyton which hits the UK today.
Dwayne Johnson says 'San Andreas' role was 'meant to be'
The movie sees a first responder helicopter pilot on a journey to rescue his estranged daughter following a devastating earthquake along the San Andreas fault in California. And while Dwayne Johnson might never have been stuck in a natural disaster of this scale himself, he certainly knows what it's like to experience the deeper issues that Ray Gaines is going through.

‘The Longest Ride’ provide no match for the seventh ‘Fast and the Furious’ instalment.
Furious 7 is still sitting on top of the US box office, after taking $60.6 million in its second weekend. The action packed sequel opened last weekend to a record-breaking $147.2 million and has fallen just 59% in week two.
Furious 7 looks set to become the biggest of the Fast and the Furious series
The film is now well on the road to become the highest-grossing film in the history of the Fast and Furious franchise. The seventh instalment stars Vin Diesel and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and also deals with the death of star Paul Walker, who was killed in a car accident in 2013 before the film was completed.
Despite being the seventh addition in the franchise, 'Furious 7' opened to the highest box-office for the first week in the franchise.
In less than a week, the seventh film in the 'Fast & Furious' franchise has passed $500 million at the global box office, and doesn't look likely to slow down until the end of the month, when 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' arrives. 'Furious 7' is poised to not only maintain its dominance on box office charts, but the movie is certain to become 2015's biggest hit next weekend when it passes the global total earned by 'Fifty Shades of Grey' ($566 million). And it hasn't opened yet in major markets like China, Russia or Japan.
Dwayne Johnson in 'Furious 7'
In North America, 'Furious 7' had the fourth best opening of all time, after two 'Harry Potter films' and 'The Avengers'. In the UK, 'Furious 7' opened bigger than any 2014 release, and has already outgrossed the lifetime UK totals of all previous films in the franchise.

Projections had forecast that 'Furious 7' would enjoy a nine-figure opening weekend in America, but its success across the globe has been astonishing.
As widely predicted, Furious 7 romped to victory at American box offices this weekend, but what wasn’t expected was the scale of its success internationally. Incredibly, the film has debuted at number one in every single territory in which it’s been released thus far.
The Universal flick, starring Vin Diesel, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and the late Paul Walker, has taken a staggering $240.4 million from international box offices. Added to the receipts from the American domestic audience, that makes a total of $384 million in ticket sales since the release date of April 3rd, CNN Money reports.

The movie could be headed for a $150+ million weekend.
The Fast & Furious franchise is going out with a bang. Or, if we’re talking sounds, it’s probably more of a ka-ching. Since its release on Thursday, Furious 7 has already recorded the highest opening of 2015. On Friday, the flick made a spectacular $67.3 million, according to Box Office Mojo.
Furious 7 gave Paul Walker a final tribute.
The numbers put it on track to close the weekend past the $150 million mark. Of course, we won’t know until Monday morning. According to BOM’s stats, this puts the flick in tenth place for all-time biggest opening, on par with The Hunger Games and The Dark Knight. It's up 74 percent on Fast & Furious 6, which was the previous best debut in the 14-year-old franchise. In a single day, Furious 7 has already earned more than the third instalment in the franchise (The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift) grossed during its entire run.

Dwayne Johnson miming and dancing to Taylor Swift? Yep this actually happened.
The Rock aka Dwayne Johnson, stole the show in the first episode of Spike’s ‘Lip Sync Battle’ which pits a pair of celebs against each other every week in the ultimate miming contest. The former WWE champ teamed up with rapper Common to take on Jimmy Fallon and John Legend on Thursday evening, demonstrating his miming skills to Taylor Swift’s ‘Shake It Off’.
The Rock is now a champion of the 'Lip Sync Battle'
Johnson performed Swfity’s modern pop classic, as well as donning the infamous John Travolta white suit for a rendition of the Bee Gee’s ‘Stayin’ Alive’. The 42 year old’s partner Common also performed Lionel Richie’s 'All Night Long' and 'I Want You Back' by The Jackson 5, helping to secure victory for the pair.
For their seventh adventure, the Fast & Furious cast and crew continue to outdo themselves with mind-boggling stunt driving and outrageous action mayhem, this time infusing everything with emotion as a way of honouring late actor Paul Walker. The rip-roaring pace and more internalised drama combine effectively to create a riotous thrill ride that might actually bring a lump to the throat. Even if it's all utterly preposterous, it's solidly entertaining.
Things pick up right where Part 6 left off, with former black-ops killer Deckerd Shaw (Jason Statham, who else?) determined to avenge his fallen brother. As he tracks them down, Dominic and Brian (Vin Diesel and Paul Walker) have reassembled their team (Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson and Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges) to take a job with shady government agent Mr Nobody (Kurt Russell). Their target is the even shadier villain Jakanda (Djimon Hounsou), who has kidnapped a genius hacker (Nathalie Emmanuel) to get his hands on her all-seeing gadget. But Shaw is on their trail as they track Jakanda to the mountains of Azerbaijan, and he interrupts their mission there as well as in the deserts of Abu Dhabi and the streets of downtown Los Angeles.
The double-edged premise offers all kinds of opportunity for plot twists, but of course the main point of these movies is to create increasingly insane set-pieces. This time, the film opens with Brian explaining to his young son that cars can't fly, after which director James Wan proves otherwise, flinging our heroes' hot rods into the sky from airplanes, tower blocks and cliff tops. Amazingly, they seem able to steer even in mid-air! But never mind, it looks so painfully cool that there's little do do but sit back and enjoy the chaos, knowing that even though a flashy vehicle is destroyed every minute, there's a newer, more awesome car coming in the next scene.

Dwayne Johnson hosted SNL and got up really, really close with the cast.
Saturday Night Live came back with a bang (you'll see what I mean) last night, with an episode hosted by Dwayne Johnson himself. Clearly, any attempts at subtlety were thrown out the window. Basically, Johnson spent a significant chunk of the show with his face thrust in another man's crotch in a "standing 69."
Remember, guys, the Rock is a serious actor now.
Yep, it was one of those episodes. The golden moment came during a segment depicting an "Indiana Jones" knockoff movie, "Escape From Jungle Island." Johnson, playing "Dr. Bones" - get it? Huh? You got it - plays an adventurer who finds himself on an island with a male companion, Shortlong, and a female companion, who's desperate for Dr. Bones' attention.

California is well-known for playing host to regular earthquakes, being located right on top of the San Andreas fault; in other words, the tectonic plate boundary that separates the Pacific and the North American Plates. However, rarely have earthquakes been seen that have reduced whole cites to rubble, caused huge chasms in the Earth and deadly tidal waves through streets killing thousands of people. The only option for residents is to get as far away as possible, though with such a huge disaster ripping through the state, this one is still going to have an effect on the other side of the country. Meanwhile, chopper pilot Ray and his estranged wife are desperate to find their missing daughter Blake first, and use a Fire Department rescue helicopter to search high and low throughout the state.
