Dwayne Johnson is eyeing a move to the small screen after signing up for a new Tv series with his Pain & Gain co-star Mark Wahlberg.
The wrestler-turned-actor will play the lead role in the new comedy drama, commissioned by U.S. network HBO, which will mark the Fast Five star's first regular television role.
Wahlberg, who appeared with Johnson in recent movie Pain & Gain, will serve as executive producer for the as-yet-untitled show, which follows a team of retired athletes in Miami, Florida.
The Planet of the Apes star has previously executive-produced Tv hits including Entourage and Boardwalk Empire.
