Ed Sheeran has had ''Ladz On Tour'' tattooed above his nipples.

The 24-year-old singer inked the tattoos on himself, as well as Rixton members Jake Roche, Lewi Morgan, Charley Bagnall and Danny Wilkin, in an ironic nod to the fact they're the ''opposite of lads''.

Jake said: ''It sounds ridiculous but it's because we're the opposite of lads. You won't see us going to Magaluf for a long weekend - we prefer a quiet pint in a country pub.

''Ed drew it out and we got one as well. His is on his chest, Charley's is on his ribs, Lewi's is on his arms and Danny's is on his a**e''.

The 'Wait On Me' hitmaker added he's ''covered'' in tattoos he got while drunk.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Jake said: ''I'm covered in silly tattoos from when we've had a few drinks and ended up regretting it, but they are memories.''

Ed is also getting a tattoo of a lion - the symbol for England's football team - to mark his three sell-out Wembley Stadium gigs over the weekend.

However, the 'Thinking Out Loud' hitmaker admitted: ''It's going to hurt...''

Ed was joined on stage by Sir Elton John at Wembley Stadium on Friday night (10.07.15).

The 68-year-old star was the special guest at the first of the singer-songwriter's three London gigs and the pair performed two songs together, Elton's 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart' and Ed's 'Afire Love'.
