During his gig at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland on Saturday (25Jul15), Sheeran invited The Frames frontman Glen Hansard and rockers Kodaline onstage to perform with him.

They joined him on Irish classics In Dublin's Fair City and The Auld Triangle, before bassist Boland got down on one knee to propose to his girlfriend Eatoin Corr, and she said yes.

Earlier in the day, the Sing hitmaker had tweeted he had "something planned for tonight you won't expect". He congratulated the couple on Twitter.com after his gig, posting, "Thank you to Kodaline and Glen Hansard for joining me on stage today to sing some tunes. And congratulations to Jay, what a way to propose!"

Earlier this month (Jul15), Sheeran serenaded Rixton's Jake Roche and Little Mix's Jesy Nelson with an acoustic version of Tenerife Sea as they got engaged onstage at Manchester Arena (19Jul15).
