Eddie Cibrian and Leann Rimes allegedly filmed their reality show in someone else's home.

The couple reportedly wanted to ''project a much more wealthy and glamorous image to their audience'' so decided to shoot scenes for their VH1 series, 'LeAnn & Eddie,' at a newly built mansion in Malibu, 13 miles away from their real $3 million house in Hidden Hills, California.

A source told National Enquirer magazine: ''They obviously wanted to project a much more wealthy and glamorous image to their audience and this house was the sure-fire way to do it.''

The duo is reportedly renting the sprawling 6,000 square foot estate for $30,000 a month.

The insider added: ''This was simply an attempt by LeAnn and Eddie to amp up the glamour factor and fool their audience - and they didn't think they'd get caught.''
