Elin Nordegren, the 30-year-old Swedish former model and ex-wife of the professional golfer Tiger Woods, is getting close to a South African student on her part-time college course, according to the UK's Sun newspaper. Nordegren and Woods completed their highly-publicised divorce in August after the golfer admitted a string of affairs.
Since the split, Woods has returned to competitive golf and has even set up accounts on both Twitter and Facebook, however, Nordegren has kept out of the media spotlight. She gave a brief interview to People Magazine back in August 2010 in which she spoke about her embarrassment at the split, saying, "I have been through the stages of disbelief and shock, to anger and ultimately grief over the loss of the family I so badly wanted for my children". However, a close friend of the 30-year-old has revealed that she has been getting on well with a fellow student, saying, "There's been kissing and cuddling but I don't know if it's gone further". Nordegren studies a part-time course in Psychology at the Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida.
The mother of two said she was looking to move on from her divorce for the sake of her children, adding, "I also feel stronger than I ever have. I have confidence in my beliefs, my decisions and myself".
