Kim Kardashian has opened up in an emotional first interview in which she’s spoken about the traumatic armed robbery she suffered in Paris last year, revealing that the aftermath of the incident has changed her life completely.

The 36 year old mother-of-two appeared on ‘The Ellen Degeneres Show’ on Thursday (April 27th), which constituted her first formal interview appearance since the robbery occurred back on October 3rd in her private apartment in the French capital.

Ellen Degeneres has told her audience about how she sustained a rather nasty injury while attempting to save two glasses of wine she was holding, falling “into a door” and dislocating her finger. Ouch!

Speaking to her crowd on Tuesday morning’s episode of her talk show (March 21st) before welcoming her guest, Claire Danes, she held up her hand in a splint to begin her story.

“I have something to show you — it’s that right here,” she said. “Can you see it? I broke my finger. I know what you’re thinking: ‘How can you host a show without the tip of your ring finger?!’ I’m not going to let this thing beat me. I am not!”

Janelle Monae has responded to the firestorm created by Kim Burrell’s recent homophobic rant, telling her fans that the gospel singer will not be performing with her and Pharrell Williams on the ‘Ellen Degeneres Show’ later this week.

The three singers were scheduled to perform their song ‘I See a Victory’ from the movie Hidden Figures – of which Monae herself is a star – on DeGeneres’ show on Thursday this week (January 5th). However, Burrell has been castigated for a recent sermon she delivered at a church in Houston where she described homosexuals as “perverted”.

The gospel singer, 44, has compounded the anger directed at her for refusing to back down or apologise for her comments in a later Facebook Live broadcast.

Ellen Degeneres has defended herself on Twitter after she was accused of racism over a meme she shared featuring Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt. DeGeneres posted the meme on Monday and overnight she found herself at the center of a social media controversy, leading her to address the issue the next day.

Now writer-director Andrew Stanton is back, along with Ellen Degeneres voicing the forgetful blue tang Dory. In her varied career, from stand-up comic to sitcom star to talk show queen, DeGeneres has found Dory to be one of her most indelible alter-egos, so it wasn't difficult for her to return to the role, as Dory reflects her own approach to the world. "I think my comedy came from observing little details in life," she says. "What is most important are the details, not the broad strokes but noticing what's in between."

DeGeneres says that she's always been very sensitive, and tries to make people laugh without ridiculing anyone. "There's so much to laugh at without it being at someone else's expense," she says. And she applies this same positivity and honesty to every aspect of her life. "When you're gay and you're successful in this business, your whole team says, 'Don't rock the boat. You're doing fine - we know you're gay but, you know, just keep it down.' And I just thought, what's equally as important as my career is living my life without shame."

The 32-year-old is currently undergoing chemotherapy and had been raising funds to tape a stand-up special via a Kickstarter campaign.

Talia Castellano, the 13-year-old, who enchanted America with her makeup videos died on Tuesday (16th July). Talia had battled with cancer: she suffered from neuroblastoma and leukaemia.

Neuroblastoma affects the nerve tissue. According to Cancer.org, it is common in children under the age of 1 and affects around 700 children in the US every year. In the majority of cases, including Talia's, it can spread to other parts of the body.

Forbes have just released their 100 Most Influential Entertainers list and Oprah has made a comeback as No. 1. True, it might not be a real comeback, considering that she only dropped to No. 2 in the past two years, but this is Oprah Winfrey we’re talking about – the woman never does anything halfway, comebacks included. According to Forbes, Winfrey has had an $88 million drop in earnings between June of last year and June 2013. However, the chart makes it clear that other factors, besides earnings are also taken into consideration when creating the list.

This year Winfrey returnes to her rightful place. 

And while it is unknown exactly what those factors are – marketability, social media presence and entrepreneurial decisions are thought to be among them – Winfrey’s handling of the nosedive her OWN network took in the last two years, as well as her management of the rest of her media empire, including O Magazine, a network on Sirius XM and shows by protégés like Dr Phil means that she once again fits the bill. Winfrey made $77 million last year, down significantly from $165 million for the same period last year. That’s still a lot of money though, even for the entertainment industry, and the media empress is set to increase said profits in the coming year, as her newly rebuilt OWN network is predicted to begin turning a profit by the end of 2013. This year, OWN has undergone a complete overhaul, cutting out unprofitable project and replacing them with original programming, created by Winfrey herself with the help of Tyler Perry – another Forbes 100 staple.

Ellen Degeneres will produce a new television series based on Lauren Graham's debut novel, Someday, Someday, Maybe, with the book being turned into a one-hour drama series for Warner Bros. TV. Graham is currently in the process of developing her work for the screen, The Hollywood Reported confirmed on Tuesday (June 11) this week.

The Gilmore Girls actress released the semi-autobiographical account of her time in New York as a young, budding actress earlier this year, with the book reaching the top-spot of the New York Times bestseller list upon it's release. Graham will write the script, which will stick to the story of a young woman who has reached the final six months of her three-year plan to make it as an actress whilst living in New York City.

Jeff Kleeman will be producing the series with DeGeneres and will see Graham team up with Warner Bros. for the first time since the end of her seven season-run on The Gilmore Girls. The series is in a foetus-like stage at the moment, with no potential stars lined-up for the show as of yet. We'll keep you posted on developments as they progress.

Courteney Cox's divorce from David Arquette is finally complete, two years after the couple decided to end their decade long marriage. "Irreconcilable differences have caused the irremediable breaking of the marriage," say the papers signed by Cox, Arquette and a judge. "The marital status of the parties is terminated."

Friends actress Cox, 48, and movie actor Arquette, 41, announced their separate way back in October 2010 and both filed divorce papers on the same day in June 2012. By all accounts, the couple have behaved admirably through the divorce and it's easily one of the most amicable celebrity breakups of recent times - probably owing to their 8-year-old daughter Coco. The couple remain the tightest of friends, "He's my best friend in the world," the Cougar Town star said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in January. "I love him." The following week, Scream actor Arquette told People magazine, "She's incredible. ... I love her, too, and she's an amazing person, a beautiful person. I don't recommend divorce in general, but he is my best friend and we've both grown and changed, and I think we both appreciate each other more. I hope he does. I do."

Following their split, apparently over Arquette's infidelity, Courteney and Coco regularly turned out to watch the actor during his stint on Dancing with the Stars.

Amanda Seyfried doesn’t have any body image issues concerning her breasts – not anymore at least. The actress was recently a guest on The Ellen Degeneres Show and the conversation somehow turned to the size of Amanda’s assets – which the actress clearly had no problem with. She did advocate against harsh diets though, saying: "I looked way better when I was 15. I had huge breasts, and then I came to Hollywood and I was like 'I got to lose weight. I got to look thin and fit,' and I lost them a little bit."

The actress admitted that she now has no problem with the size and shape of any part of her body, but it did take her a while to get to this point. When Ellen asked whether Seyfried now thinks she looks good naked, the Red Riding Hood actress had this to say: "At this point in my life I do. Because you know what, it just doesn't matter anymore. You just have to. Like, when you're young you don't appreciate it, and I feel like everyone that's a bit older wishes they appreciated when they were young."

The topic came about when Amanda and Ellen were discussing Seyfried’s recent appearance in Allure magazine’s 'How to Look Good Naked' issue. When asked by the host why she was the only woman in the issue, who wasn’t actually naked (so don't waste your time scouring Google), Seyfried answered: “I really don’t know. No one asked me to be. I don’t wanna take it personally, but no one mentioned nudity.”

Amanda Seyfried laments her weight loss when she moved to Hollywood because she lost her 'beautiful huge breasts' that she possessed as a teenager.

In an interview on 'The Ellen Degeneres Show', the 'Les Miserables' star was asked if she felt that she looked good naked. 'At this point in my life, I do', she said, adding that she thinks that most older people wished that they'd appreciated what they had when they were young. 'I looked way better when I was 15', she confessed. 'I had beautiful huge breasts and then I came to Hollywood and I was like, 'I gotta lose weight, I gotta look thin and fit' and I lost them a little bit.' The 27-year-old insisted, however, that she didn't miss them because they were 'quite uncomfortable' but claimed that she had 'some nice curves' and thinks that women should embrace their figures 'as opposed to trying to get rid of everything all the time.'

It might have been a case of TMI for many viewers, but she nonetheless earned applause from the studio crowd with her empowering comments on the pressures of being too slim. The star didn't have to worry too much about her figure in her recent project though which saw her voice protagonist MK in the animated movie 'Epic' which is now out in movie theatres.

Les Miserables actress Amanda Seyfried says she lost her "beautiful, huge breasts" after moving to Hollywood to pursue a career in movies. The 27-year-old - who plays Linda Lovelace in a forthcoming biopic - called in on the Ellen Degeneres show this week to discuss her beginnings.

"I looked way better when I was 15. I had beautiful, huge breasts!" the actress explained, "And then I came to Hollywood and I was like I gotta lose weight. I gotta look thin. I gotta get fit. And I lost them a little bit." It seems she lost more than "a little bit," telling DeGeneres she was an D cup though that she doesn't miss them, "...because they were ... uncomfortable."

Despite her own decisions, Seyfried warned, "I was feminine. I had some nice curves. And I think we should appreciate that instead of trying to get rid of everything."

Jennifer Aniston got to co-host The Ellen Degeneres Show this week and gave us all a mini Friends reunion in the process. In the slightly awkward, slightly confusing bit, Aniston was nervous about the gig and she naturally went to her former co-star Matthew Perry for some sage advice. Except Perry wasn’t exactly thrilled to see her at the door, at 8AM no less. And when Aniston objected that they “used to do walk into each other’s apartments all the time”, Perry made a valid point (which went straight to the hearts of Friends fans).

Anniston was apparently the brains behind the reunion.

"That was a TV show," he counters. "We haven't actually seen each other in a really long time. Like eight years."

Well, the long awaited Friends reunion finally happened, though probably not in the way fans of the show had hoped. It might have been a three-minute sketch with just three of the show’s stars, but hey, we take what we can get. The occasion was Jennifer Aniston’s gig co-hosting The Ellen Degeneres Show.

The premise was pretty simple – Jen is nervous and so she goes to seek hosting advice from a veteran – her longtime pal and Friends co-star, Matthew Perry. Except Perry is not really in the mood to talk (“Maybe you shouldn’t show up at somebody’s house at 8AM and you should call first”) To Jen’s dismay, things have changed between the Friends, or maybe, as Perry hints, they were never really all that friendly and it was all just an act for the cameras. Except that’s when Courteney Cox (aka Monica) comes out of his house and the, ahem, stuff hits the fan.

“Court!” Aniston exclaims.

Cher stopped by Ellen yesterday to have for a chat about her life, her career and her son Chaz. Not before a quick outfit change for Ellen though, as it turned out she and Cher were wearing the same thing! Ok, they weren’t really, the whole thing was a gag by Ellen to tease her iconic guest’s appearance. On the day before, the talk show host tweeted a digitally altered image of Cher’s body in her infamous sequined bodysuit, but with Ellen’s head, instead of her own, The Daily Mail reports. Ah, the magic of image-altering software! The sailor hat was a nice touch as well.

The gags were set aside during Cher’s actual visit though, as she, her 86-year-old mother 86-year-old mother Georgia Holt and her 61-year-old half-sister Georganne LaPiere talked to Ellen about the coming out story of Cher’s son, Chaz Bono. Apparently Chaz didn’t go the traditional route and instead came out to his grandmother first, with Cher being the last one to find out that her son was gay.

'That's a big deal to come out to the grandmother,' DeGeneres said.

Jennifer Aniston dropped by The Ellen Degeneres Show today (April 18) to talk upcoming releases, scaring tactics and share a few personal details too, however one subject of conversation stood out among the rest and that was the potential Friends reunion. Ever since the show came to an end in 2004 there have been rumours of a reunion show/feature length movie, but in recent weeks this chatter has been louder than ever. So, will there be a reunion happening?

According to Jen, the answer is unfortunately a resounding no. The actress stated that the only mutterings of a potential Friends reunion have come from Ellen herself or internet rumours as she insisted that as far as she knows it, there isn't going to be a reunion between the Central Perk regulars. “I’m responsible for the entire Friends reunion that’s going to happen. Or is it?” DeGeneres asks, her question greeted by rounds of cheers from the studio audience. “Well, you’re hearing it here first…as am I, “ the actress, who played Rachel Green on the hit sitcom replied, asking, “Did Matthew Perry start that? Because he’s been getting some good airtime on this show. I’ve been watching.”

Jen is the latest person to deny the rumours of a Friends reunion in the space of a week, with the show's co-creator Mara Hoffman denying the reunion rumours to E! News on Tuesday (April 16) night at the premiere of Call Me Crazy premiere. Looks like we'll have to keep on waiting fellow Friends fans because a reunion show is looking less and less likely with each passing day.

Disney Pixar has announced plans to release Finding Dory, the sequel to the smash hit Finding Nemo, in November 2015. The sequel has long been in the works, though Pixar has finally tied up deals for Ellen GeDeneres, Albert Brooks and director Andrew Stanton to return.

The sequel will focus on DeGeneres' Dory character, though according to Deadline.com, it was Brooks that took the most persuading to return. Earlier this year, the veteran finally closed a "fat deal" to reprise the voice of Marlin. The actor has enjoy somewhat of a renaissance since starring in the original movie, starring in Judd Apatow's This Is 40, as well as the bad-add Bernie Rose in Nicolas Refn Winding's Drive. He's also working on another novel, after his debut Twenty Thirty: The Real Story of What Happened To America became an instant bestseller. There's also talk that Brooks will write and direct another comedy, similar to The Muse and Lost In America. 

Anyway, it's all speculation for now, as Brooks has committed to Finding Dory, considered by Pixar as another chance to break animation records. Announcing her involvement this week, DeGeneres said in a statement, "I have waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long time."

Dory - the little blue fish voiced by talk show host Ellen Degeneres - will be the focus of the Finding Nemo sequel Finding Dory, announced by Pixar this week. The follow-up to the 2003 Oscar winner will be directed by original Nemo filmmaker Andrew Stanton and is set for release on November 25, 2015.

"I have waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long, long time," DeGeneres said in a press release. "I'm not mad it took this long. I know the people at Pixar were busy creating Toy Story 16. But the time they took was worth it. The script is fantastic. And it has everything I loved about the first one: It's got a lot of heart, it's really funny, and the best part is - it's got a lot more Dory." Pixar - who have worked long and hard to prepare the Nemo sequel - say the film is "set in part along the California coastline" and will feature returning favorites, however it also "welcomes a host of new characters, including a few who will prove to be a very important part of Dory's life."

It marks the latest sequel/prequel in Pixar's oeuvre, along with the Toy Story movies, Cars and the forthcoming Monster's Inc prequel Monster's University, set for release this summer. Elsewhere, the Disney-owned company has a follow-up to Oscar-winner Brave on the horizon, as well as The Good Dinosaur, directed by Bob Petersen, a new project helmed by Up's Peter Doctor and an untitled movie about the Day of the Dead, directed by Nemo co-helmer Lee Unkrich, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Looks like you're all going to be seeing plenty more of Ellen Degeneres in the coming years. She's also going to get plenty richer after it was announced The Ellen DeGeneres Show has been renewed till the 2016-2017 television season, in 96 per cent of the United States.

The renewal includes all ten NBC owned stations and 179 additional stations. Overall, Ellen is tied with Dr Phil for the No.1 syndicated talk show this season among the key women 25-54 demographic, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The popular show is pulling in 3.2 million viewers on average - a massive number for a day-time talk show in turbulent times for the genre. Ricki Lake, Anderson Cooper and Jeff Probst have had their shows cancelled, while 'The View' is undergoing a major overhaul with Joy Behar departing and rumors that Elisabeth Hasselbeck will be moved on because of her conservative views. 

The good news for Ellen was announced on Monday, by Ken Werner president of Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution. "Ellen is quite simply the best. Day in and day out she and her team produce a unique and compelling hour of entertainment which is appointment television for legions of women.  We are absolutely thrilled that NBC, Ellen, Warner Bros. and all of our station partners will be continuing our successful relationship for years to come," read a statement. Valari Staab, president of NBC Owned Television Stations described Ellen as "the crown jewel of the NBC Owned Television Stations daytime lineup," adding, "We are proud and thrilled to extend our relationship with Ellen DeGeneres, all the great people."

Katy Perry's Grammys Dress Caused Quite A Stir

It's safe to say Katy Perry stole the entire show at the Grammy awards on Sunday evening (February 10, 2013) in a mint green Gucci dress that featured a rather revealing keyhole cut-out. It quickly caused excitement on Twitter, with fans of the star lauding her daring choice of dress. It wasn't just her followers who noticed either, with various amusing photographs of celebrities in awe of Perry's, ugh, assets, circulating online today.

Elton John, of all people, was caught out cheekily eyeing up Perry's dress, while television star Ellen Degeneres made a joke of the elephant in the room, staring intently at Perry's chest as her girlfriend Portia De Rossi looked on. "I was inspired by Priscilla Presley in the Seventies... Married to Elvis Presley, of course," Perry told Ryan Seacrest of her Grammys dress. Seacrest himself joked that he had luckily had plenty of practice at staying focused when at eye level. One man who did manage to keep his eyes on the ball was Perry's boyfriend John Mayer, who was photographed staring straight into Katy's eyes when the pair were snapped taking their seats. The 35-year-old blues guitarist admitted that he's been thinking about marrying Perry, 28, sometime in the future. When asked whether a wedding would be a possibility, Mayer said, "Of course. I mean, I'm still the kid from Connecticut. That's what you do," according to the Daily Mail.

Finding Nemo 3-D will head to UK cinemas on March 29, 2013, giving families the chance to relive one of the best loved animated movies in recent memory - but this time, in spectacular 3-D. It's the type of movie that lends itself well to the new technology, unlike other movies that are seemingly released in 3-D for the sake of it.

The Pixar movie - in case you didn't know - tells the story of an over-protective clownfish named Marlin (voiced by Albert Brooks) who searches for his abducted son Nemo (Alexander Gould) with the help of a regal tang name Dory (Ellen Degeneres). The 3-D version hit cinemas across the pond in September 2012 and won instantaneous acclaim from critics. It currently holds a score of 99% on Rotten Tomatoes, making it one of the best reviewed movies on the entire site. Time Out said, "I was swept up in its dazzling stream of rainbow corals, amused by the stoner turtles going with the flow, sharks battling their own regressive instincts and DeGeneres' scatterbrained Dory." Nell Minow of the Chicago Sun-Times said, "It makes even more compelling what is still my all-time favorite Pixar film." The Guardian's Peter Bradshaw was similarly impressed by the 3-D overhaul, writing, "It's all tremendously entertaining stuff, with oodles of wonderful detail and superb direction by Andrew Stanton."

The world is still waiting for its first glimpse of Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green's baby son Noah, with the couple leaving fans guessing as to what the 12-week-old baby looks like. Fox again stopped at home to care for the tot this week, with Green tasked with taking his son, Kassius, Christmas shopping in Los Feliz, reports the Daily Mail.

The former Beverly Hills 90210 actor headed out with his eldest son to pick up some gifts for the family, buying an Atari flashback, a Nutcracker figurine and wrapping paper. The shopping trip came shortly after Fox appeared on the Ellen Degeneres show, speaking about baby Noah's appearance for the first time. "He looks, I would say 70 per cent like Brian. He was his identical twin when he came out and recently he's been getting chubbier and everyone's like oh, he's so chubby now he looks like you and I don't know how I should take that," she told the host. The Transformers star also discussed how she kept Noah's birth a secret for weeks because Reese Witherspoon went into labour with her son Tennessee the day before. "She went into labour the day before I did and all of the paparazzi followed her to Santa Monica and so when I went into labour I went to Cedars [Sinai hospital] and nobody cared or knew or was there and so I got in and out."

Brian and Megan married in an intimate ceremony in Hawaii in June 2010 after a six year relationship. Kassius is Brian's son from his previous relationship to the actress Vanessa Marcil.

Rachel and Finn have had a very tumultuous relationship in Glee, to say the least. But in real life the actors who play both those characters have a dream-like relationship. 

Lea Michele (Rachel) and Cora Monteith (Finn) have been dating for months but they only unveiled the news publicly on Ellen, to its host Ellen Degeneres. Ellen asked him about 'Monchele' and what it means. He replied "Well, of course I know what Monchele is... it's Monteith and Michele... Yeah [we are a couple]." The news of which inspired the audience to scream their approval. 

Despite both looking as though they're in high school, like their famous Glee characters, Michele is in fact 26 while Cory is 30, and it's right about time for a grown-up relationship. Michele is gracing the cover of Marie Claire this month in which she has spoken about her relationship with Cory. "I don't even remember a time when he wasn't my boyfriend. No one knows me better than Cory," quotes NY Daily News. "No one knows what it's been like to go through this more than he does. Feeling like you have that net underneath you allows you to jump higher and go farther... He makes me feel like I can do anything. For the first time in my life, I feel really, really settled and happy. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world."

Ellen Degeneres has never been one to suffer fools gladly. When her recent chat show guest John Travolta tried to talk her through his hot chocolate obsession, guiding her through the various types of cocoa bean the world has to offer, she promptly cut him off, saying “I’m gonna interrupt just one second because this is incredibly boring.” Luckily, the Grease star was in on the joke and cracked a smile, as Ellen dissed his bizarre obsession.

In fact, Travolta was really on the show to promote the charity Christmas album that he is releasing with Olivia Newton-John. The album features guests such as James Taylor, Tony Bennett and Barbra Streisand. Oh… and Kenny G. “All the proceeds go to our charities. And they knew that so, once we told them that it was more impetus to help us,” Travolta explained. The moneys raised from the album’s sales will help the Jett Travolta Foundation, which the actor set up after the death of his son Jett. They will also help fund Olivia Newton John’s Cancer and Wellness Foundation.

The Jett Travolta Foundation aims to help people with autism and who suffer seizures, as they are “the least known areas of illnesses… and I feel bad that there’s so many people dealing with this and there are no answers for it.” However, he’s expanded the aims of the organization to include handicapped and underprivileged children.

Yesterday (29th Oct. 2012) Anderson Live, the daytime chat show eponymously hosted by Anderson Cooper, was officially cancelled. Ratings for the news anchor's show just never really kicked off. Format changes, including a name change from just 'Anderson' to 'Anderson Live', were clearly not enough to nudge it into nationwide popularity. 

Reported in the Chicago Tribute, Cooper said "I am very proud of the work that our terrific staff has put into launching and sustaining our show for two seasons," and added that he looked forward "to doing more great shows this season ... I'm sorry that we won't be continuing." This followed the statement made by WarnerBros, stating "The series will not be coming back for a third season in a marketplace that has become difficult to break through." Anderson Live was competing with mid-day heavyweights such as Ellen Degeneres' 'Ellen', Dr Phil's 'Dr Phil' nor Katie Couric's 'Katie' (all imaginatively titled, as you can see). 

It's not the end of the world for Cooper who will still continue hosting his news program 'Anderson 360'. His career history includes international journalism, a lot of which was war reporting, including an award winning report from Sarajevo during the Bosnian war. A lot of his work is referred to in his 2006 memoir Dispatches From the Edge. 

Clint Eastwood on gay marriage was one of the most interesting segments of the western star’s recently appearance on Ellen Degeneres daytime talk show. Despite aligning himself with Mitt Romney’s Presidential campaign – a man known for his staunch anti-gay marriage views – Eastwood surprised come commentators with his own opinion.

The actor-director essentially told Ellen that whoever you choose to marry should be none of the government’s business, asserting, “It’s a part of the libertarian idea: Leave everybody alone!” Eastwood went on to suggest that the United States were facing serious problems – most notably the economic situation – and that politicians were wasting much too time discussing gay marriage, saying, “The condition of society right now with the high unemployment rates, and the tremendous debt increasing, and the government spending, you’d think there’d be a lot to think about, except worrying about what gay marriage is about.” The actor has always been known as a libertarian, rather than a Republican, and his comments reiterate his belief about gay marriage which he first made public during an interview with GQ in 2011. On that occasion he said he didn’t “give a f*ck” if a gay couple wanted to marry. So that’s that, then.

The actor – who most recently helmed the big-screen biopic ‘J Edgar’ – was the subject of internet mocking last week after his infamous speech at the Republican convention. During an interview with Extra TV, Eastwood had little sympathy for Mitt Romney – whose campaign he is said to have harmed with his skit – saying, “If somebody’s dumb enough to ask me to go to a political convention and say something, they’re gonna have to take what they get.”

Britney Spears is certainly no stranger to a complex dance routine, though even the pop princess seemed a little confused by South Korean rapper Psy’s “invisible horse dance” on the Ellen Degeneres show this week.

The eccentric star’s video for ‘Gangnam Style’ recently went viral on YouTube, garnering over 147 million views. Psy dropped by Ellen’s show on Tuesday (September 11, 2012) to speak about the breakout hit and teach the accompanying dance routine, which the respected rapper explained was about dressing “classy” and dancing “cheesy”. Britney – also a guest on the show to promote The X Factor – looked bewildered when Psy initially appeared on-stage wearing a tuxedo and tennis shoes. DeGeneres’ excitement to learn the routine meant she failed to properly introduce Psy to Spears, leading the rapper to quite rightly interject, “Can I introduce myself, and not just dance? I'm Psy from Korea.” The rapper performed at the MTV Video Music Awards last week, and has already been snapped up by Scooter Braun – the mastermind behind a little fella named Justin Bieber. Psy will begin releasing material on Scooter’s Schoolboy Records label, home to fellow viral star Carly Rae Jepsen.
