Ellen Degeneres has launched a new gaming app, 'Psych! Outwit Your Friends'.

The chat show host has teamed up with Warner Bros. Games to release her second game - the follow up to 'Heads Up! Psych!'- where players make up false answers to real trivia questions and have to compete by guessing who is lying.

Each player then wins points for every friend they 'psych!' into thinking their answer is correct.

Talking about the title, Ellen, 57, promised it will be the ''most fun'' you will have with pals and joked that everyone who downloads it will be invited to her house for a game.

She said: ''I can't wait for everyone to play this new game. It's going to be the most fun you ever had with your friends. I'm so excited for you to try it, everyone who downloads it is invited to dinner at my house. ''Psych! I'm sorry. I couldn't resist, since that's the name of the game. It was also the name of my great uncle's cockatiel. Psych! I'm kidding again. The cockatiel was named Camille.''

Developed by Sequence, 'Psych!' will be Free to Play with three free category decks available at launch, including Word Up! , Is That a Fact? and Movie Bluff! Nine additional decks will be available for purchase at £0.79.

Ellen's game is available today for free on the App Store and on Google Play.
