Ellie Goulding entertained a crowd of over 5,000 fans at her charity concert at London's Royal Albert Hall this week, after tickets for the show sold out in a matter of minutes. It's her third show for the Streets of London homelessness charity, and it only gets bigger and bigger each year.

The 'On My Mind' singer performed at her annual fundraiser for the non-profit organisation Streets of London on Monday night (November 21st 2016), alongside a number of special musical guests. She performed a split set in two parts with an interval from this year's Brits Critics' Choice Award winner Jack Garratt.

Opening the show was philanthropist and mental health advocate Hussain Manawer with a contemporary poem he wrote called 'Streets of London'. He hit headlines late last year when he won the chance to become the first Muslim to go into space; a feat that he will complete in January 2018. Other performers included Laura Mvula, backed by an impressive live band, as well as acoustic crooner Gabrielle Aplin.

Ellie Goulding's previous Streets of London shows have taken place at the Roundhouse with support from Mumford & Sons and Rudimental (2015), and at Shepherd's Bush Empire with Bastille and Tom Odell. The charity aims to raise awareness of the extent of homelessness in the city of London, as well as provide a specialist level of support for all those who suffer on the streets. Ellie is currently one of the main ambassadors of the foundation, alongside Dan Smith of Bastille and Justin Young of The Vaccines.

The pop songstress has no other upcoming live dates this year, nor are we expecting a follow up to her 2015 album 'Delirium' anytime soon. Her last single release was 'Still Falling for You', written and recorded for the movie 'Bridget Jones's Baby'.
