Elvis Presley's daughter Lisa Marie has followed in her father's legendary footsteps by making her debut at the fabled Grand Ole Opry venue in Nashville, Tennessee - 58 years after the King rocked the same stage.
Lisa Marie Presley performed songs from her new album Storm & Grace at the home of country music on Tuesday night (21Aug12) and she has been left overwhelmed after receiving a standing ovation from the audience.
In a Twitter.com post on Wednesday morning (22Aug12), she writes, "Still reeling from my Grand Ole Opry debut..Thank u 4 (sic) all of the love, support and for the standing ovation...overwhelming..I love u guys..L".
Rascal Flatts, Del MCCoury Band and The Time Jumpers were also among the Grand Ole Opry performers on Tuesday.
Elvis made his one and only appearance at the iconic theatre in 1954 to perform a cover of Bill Monroe's Blue Moon of Kentucky.
