Elvis Presley Songwriter Sid Tepper Has Died, Aged 96.
Tepper passed away from natural causes on Friday (24Apr15) at his home in Miami Beach, Florida.
Between 1945 and 1970, Tepper created more than 300 songs with his writing partner Roy C. Bennett, including 45 tunes for Presley, including G.I. Blues and The Lady Loves Me, his duet with Ann-Margret.
Tepper and Bennett also wrote tracks for Frank Sinatra, the Beatles, Ray Charles, Louie Armstrong and Cliff Richard, among many other artists.
In 2002, he was honoured in Memphis, Tennessee for his contributions to Presley's career.
