Emilia Clarke has revealed that she won't watch 'House of the Dragon', the 'Game of Thrones' spin-off show.
Emilia Clarke "still can't" watch 'House of the Dragon'.
The 37-year-old actress is best known for playing Daenerys Targaryen in 'Game of Thrones', but Emilia has now admitted that she still can't bring herself to watch the spin-off series.
The London-born actress - who starred on 'Game of Thrones' between 2011 and 2019 - told PEOPLE: "I still can't [watch the show]. I just don't know what it is."
Emilia has very fond memories of her time on the HBO fantasy series, and because of that, the actress feels it would be "odd" to watch the spin-off show.
She shared: "I feel so content and happy with what my experience was, that I think watching the new one would just feel so odd, I think."
Despite this, Emilia loves that the spin-off show has been so successful and popular with fans.
She said: "I really do fully support the entire thing and everyone who's made it, and it's beautiful how successful it's been. It's absolutely amazing."
In 2023, Emilia admitted that she can't bring herself to watch 'House of the Dragon'.
The actress voiced her support for the spin-off show - but confessed that watching the programme would be "weird" and "strange".
She told Variety: "It's too weird. I'm so happy it's happening. I'm over the moon about all the awards ... I just can't do it. It's so weird. It's so strange."
Emilia even likened watching the show to attending a school reunion.
She explained: "It's kind of like someone saying, ‘You want to go to this school reunion that's not your year? Want to go to that school reunion?' That's how it feels. I'm avoiding it."
