Emilia Fox unveiled the odd but highly desired prize of a special Diamond Jubilee Faberge egg as one of the most luxurious egg hunts of recent times gets under away to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee this year. The egg is worth nearly $200,000, reports the Press Association, and its hoped that the event will attract enough entrants to make it the biggest Faberge Egg hunt ever; there are 200 other eggs to find around London which will then allow the finders to enter the competition for the main award. It will raise funds for Elephant Family and Action For Children.
"The Faberge Big Egg Hunt is an enchanting event which will capture the hearts, imagination and interest of everyone taking part," said Action For Children chief executive Dame Clare Tickell, "It's particularly heartening to know that money will be raised thanks to an event which will be hugely enjoyable for the thousands of children and families who will be taking part."
Sarah Faberge meanwhile commented "We are thrilled to be involved in a fun-filled public project exploring creativity across so many artistic disciplines, and raising funds for two exceptionally deserving charities. I would personally like to thank all the artists involved."
