Emma Bunton was serenaded by her lover Jade Jones and his band Damage for Valentine's Day (14.02.14).

The former Spice Girl expressed her shock when her beau Jade surprised her live on air with a dozen red roses and a special performance of 'Love to Love' with his recently reunited group, during her radio show on Heart FM this morning.

While co-host Jamie Theakston was in on the stunt, Emma had been blindfolded and was unaware her boyfriend had been planning the romantic gesture after the group - which includes Coree Richards, Rahsaan J Bromfield and Noel Simpson - hid on the floor above her studio before sneaking up on her from behind.

Upon taking off her blindfold, Emma admitted she was relieved to see her beau as she said: ''Oh My goodness! I'm so glad it was you! I thought who is kissing me! Oh my god!''

Damage recently reformed for ITV2 show 'The Big Reunion' after they decided to call time on their pop career in 2001, and Emma admitted she was happy to see the entire group together in the studio.

She gushed: ''I got all of the Damage boys as well, not just one! Thank you so much.''

The grand gesture was a reassuring for Emma, who believed Jade had forgotten about Valentine's Day when he failed to buy her any gifts for the romantic day.

Emma - who has been in a relationship with Jade since 1997 and has two sons, Tate and Beau, with him - said: ''I was going to phone you because I didn't get a card.''
