We’re just going to go right ahead and say this, we may love Emma Stone as much as we love Jennifer Lawrence! Quite a claim, but we think we can back it up.  The Amazing Spider-Man 2 actress gets more loveable each time she makes an appearance, she can do no wrong in our eyes. Her lip syncing stint on Jimmy Fallon the other night just totally sealed the deal. Syncing to Blue Traveler’s Hook and DJ Khaled’s All I do is Win, Emma had us in stitches. Even Jimmy found it hard to contain himself, having to really pull it together to perform his second song.

Emma StoneWe're huge fans of Amazing Spider-Man 2 actress Emma Stone

She loves the Spice Girls as much as we loved the Spice Girls

It’s not just Emma’s superb lip synching skills that won us over to Team Stone. It’s rare to find a star so totally down to earth, one of the reasons that Jennifer Lawrence has become so popular. Who wasn’t crying along with her when she welled up following a video message from the Spice Girl’s Mel B? Announcing that she is “the biggest Spice Girls fan ever”, Emma fulfilled Mel’s request to sing a Spice Girls tune, blasting out a rendition of Wannabe.

She's a modern day Suffragette

She’s a feminist, and not one of those celebrity "feminists" that umms and ahhs over whether she is or not ( naming no names, um, Katy Perry). Emma recently called out boyfriend Andrew Garfield’s response to a fan. When asked “How did Spider-Man make his costume?”, Garfield responded, “He made it. He made it with his bare hands. He sewed it…It’s kind of a feminine things to do, but he really made a very masculine costume.” Big mistake, Andrew. Emma immediately shot back at her boyfriend’s answer, “It’s feminine how?” After a momentary panic, Andrew explained, “we all have feminine in us.” Don’t mess with Emma Stone!

It’s not the first time that Emma has called out a spot of sexism. Back in 2012 Andrew pointed out that he doesn’t get asked pointless questions about his style, to which Emma replied, “You get asked interesting, poignant questions because you are a boy.” Touché.

She's got the talent to back it up

She’s a great actress, full stop. Whether she turns her hand to a comedic performance, like Superbad or Easy A, or something a bit more serious, such as her role as Skeeter in 2011’s The Help, she’s consistently outstanding. Charming and amiable in real life as well as onscreen, Emma Stone is fast becoming our firm favourite.
