Emma Watson loves living in the US - because she finds it a ''fascinating'' country.
The British beauty returned to Brown University in January to resume her English literature studies at the Ivy League institution and wants to experience as much of life in America as possible.
She said: ''I live in the USA; I find it really fascinating. I'm studying this huge country, it surprises me, but it's also very scary.''
Although the 'Harry Potter' actress has taken the country to her heart she insists she will always retain her European sensibilities.
Emma - who was born in Paris but moved to England when she was five when her parents divorced - added to Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera: ''I could say that I watch 'Girls' and I'd love to act with Lena Dunham, but I still feel European.''
The 22-year-old star took a break from her studies in 2011 after 18 months to promote 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2' - the final movie in the franchise - and it's a decision Emma didn't take lightly.
She explained: ''I hate having to leave my studies behind when I have to work, but I only have two real passions: books and cinema. Growing up is really harsh. Society nowadays makes young people ask themselves questions without really giving any answers. But facing difficulties makes you grow up as well.''
