The Bailando hitmaker was reportedly behind the wheel of a Cadillac Escalade when a FHP trooper spotted the SUV in closed express lanes on the freeway in Miami-Dade County.

In the affidavit obtained by local news network Miami NBC6, the arresting police officer claims Iglesias moved from the driver's seat into the back, so his passenger, identified as his tour manager Abel Tabuyo, could climb behind the wheel.

FHP Lt. Julio Pajon confirms Iglesias was the initial driver, and in the report, Tabuyo claims he did not know why he was asked to switch seats with the star.

Iglesias and Tabuyo were handcuffed and charged with misdemeanour obstruction without violence, while Iglesias received the additional driving with a suspended licence count.

Both men entered not guilty pleas and were subsequently released after agreeing to appear in court on 10 July (15).
