Leonardo DiCaprio did his best to woo Cara Delevingne, to no avail.
Leonardo Dicaprio has certainly racked up an impressive number of supermodel girlfriends over the years, though British Burberry star Cara Delevingne isn't one of them. According to The Sun newspaper, Cara snubbed the Hollywood A-lister at the after-party of the Great Gatsby premiere at Cannes last week.
A source said: "Normally all Leo has to do is look at a girl and they fall at his feet. Though Cara was having none of it.He spent the night chasing after her and essentially she blew him out." The insider says the pair spoke for a while and eventually swapped numbers after Leo had invited her to a party back at his suite. "He tried every trick in the book and apparently kept lunging for her but she kept dodging them," said the source, "Everyone is howling at the fact she actually knocked back the biggest actor in the world. She thought he was too forward and too old."
DiCaprio - who stars as Jay Gatsby in Baz Luhrmann's reimagining of F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic novel - has previously dated Gisele Bundchen, Bar Refaeli, Erin Heatherton, Anne Vyalitsyna and Eva Herzigova. Delevingne, who previously dated the folk-rock musician Jake Bugg, is said to be moving in with best pal Rita Ora in East London later this year.

Leonardo DiCaprio has explained why he fails to hold down serious relationships.
Leonardo Dicaprio has been linked to shall we say 'several' of the world's most beautiful woman. Let's just leave it that. However, the 38-year-old has been unable to hold down a serious relationship for years: why?
The 'Wolf of Wall Street' actor has reportedly dated Bar Refaeli, Erin Heatherton, Blake Lively, Aferdita Dreshaj and Margot Robbie, though he tells the May issue of Esquire that working hard and maintaining a relationship is simply not an easy thing to balance. "Six months of being on location or being off in Morocco or someplace like that is not the best thing for a relationship," he explained.
It's not difficult to take what DiCaprio is saying as the truth. He's easily one of the hardest working actors in Hollywood and since 2006 has starred in Blood Diamond, Body of Lies, Revolutionary Road, Shutter Island, Inception, J. Edgar, Django Unchained and new movies The Great Gatsby and The Wolf of Wall Street. Despite all that effort, Leonardo still regards himself as being incredibly fortunate to be in the position he's in. "I always thought of myself as the underdog, because I didn't have nice enough clothes or maybe my hair didn't look good" he explained, adding, "And so you have to understand-getting your foot in the door is like winning the lottery. It's literally like winning the lottery if you get to have a career [In Hollywood]."

Leonardo Dicaprio might currently be enjoying the glory of Oscar-nominated Django Unchained. And he may shortly be hitting our screens in the highly anticipated Baz Luhrman adaptation of The Great Gatsby. Apparently, though, DiCaprio wants to take a break from acting, as he told German publication Bild recently.
“I'm a little bit drained. I am now going to take a long, long break,” he told them (translation courtesy of Wenn). When he was asked what he might do with his time off, he revealed that he’d like to “improve the world a bit” and talked about his love for environmental activism. Theoretically speaking, DiCaprio could well be in a position to take a well-earned break pretty soon (he’s been acting in movies and on TV since 1990). There’s been a lot of to-ing and fro-ing with The Great Gatsby and he was back in Australia recently re-filming some of his scenes for that but once all of the promo for Luhrman’s ambitious creation is out of the way, he just has Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf Of Wall Street to fulfill his obligations for.
DiCaprio’s 38 now and has recently ended his relationship with Erin Heatherton. Maybe a break from acting is just what he needs to take some time out, reassess and possibly even shake off that ‘permanent bachelor’ tag he seems to have landed himself.

Has Leonardo Dicaprio moved on from his split with Victoria's Secret model Erin Heatherton already? It certainly seems to be the case with onlookers suggesting he got very cosy with a co-star at a recent bash.
The serial dater and Golden Globe winning actor ended his relationship with Erin after ten months, reportedly because she wanted to get more 'serious' and Leo, who has been in numerous high profile relationships, feels he is not yet ready to commit having not yet had a go with all the models of Hollywood. He's not far off though. He has already romanced the likes of Kristen Zang, Emma Miller, Gisele Bundchen, Bar Refaeli and actress (for a change) Blake Lively.
Now, it seems he's back on actresses after being seen spending a lot of time in the company of his 'The Wolf of Wolf Street' co-star Margot Robbie. At a recent Las Vegas party for businessman Jho Low, an onlooker told The New York Post: 'There looks to be some strong chemistry between Leo and his leading lady. They spent a lot of time at the party together.'

Leonardo Dicaprio appears to be back on the market again. AccordIng to a story from E! Online, the Django Unchained star has split from his latest beautiful girlfriend, the Victoria’s Secret model Erin Heatherton.
Despite the fact that Erin, Leo and Leo’s mum all enjoyed a fun adventure holiday in Mexico at the start of the year, things don’t seem to have worked out and DiCaprio has returned to his perpetual state of bachelorhood.
Apparently, Leo and Erin are still on good terms and it looks as though the distance may have been the big factor in ruining things for them. Leonardo had to spend a long time in Australia filming The Great Gatsby and was then holed up in New Orleans over the spring, filming Django Unchained. The test of long-distance love clearly proved too much for the busy pair, who have now decided to call it a day, though a source told E! that there’s no bad feelings between the couple.

Leonardo Dicaprio and Erin Heatherton have called time on their relationship after ten-months together.
Leo and Victoria's Secret model Erin are said to have decided on an amicable split and just decided that the time was right to move on, a source told US Weekly. The unidentified source said, "They split a few weeks ago. There's no bad blood -- they still care about each other a lot. It was just time to move on."
DiCaprio, who will next be seen in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained, and Erin were first rumoured to be dating when they were spotted sight-seeing in Sydney, Australia, whilst the actor was filming The Great Gatsby in December 2011. As the months went on, the prospect that 'this might be the one' for Leo looked all the more likely, however now it seems that another one has been thrown in the pile and DiCapro, 37, will be returning to bachelor life.
