Eva Herzigova loves the attention wearing jewellery brings her.

The former Victoria's Secret beauty is currently promoting Chopard's launch of animal-inspired accessories to celebrate their 150th anniversary and enjoys to don some show-stopping pieces.

Eva said: "I think jewellery is more about attraction. It's very intimate and very personal, but it also means you want to be noticed, to be seen, to shout something. So I think a woman who wears jewellery must be a strong character, someone who's not afraid to go: 'Look at me!' "

The model - who made her name posing for Wonderbra with the slogan 'Hello, boys' written across the billboards - remembers the first time she was given jewellery on her 18th birthday.

She added to Vanity Fair magazine: "It was composed of three little hearts, so it was like my mum, my dad and me, or my brother, sister and me."

The 37-year-old star has built up a strong friendship with Chopard's co-president Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele since they met in the 90s in Cannes and since then Eva ensures her red carpet looks are littered with their jewellery.

She said: "I'm kind of a classic girl, but I like a sense of humour, so I very much appreciate what Caroline does."
