The Celebrity Apprentice host came under fire when he suggested Mexicans heading to America were bringing drugs and crime into the country when he launched his bid for the U.S. presidency earlier this month (Jun15).

Following the comments, Colombian star J Balvin cancelled his performance at the upcoming Miss USA show in July (15) and bosses of Spanish-language network Univision dropped its coverage of all the Miss Universe Organization's pageants, which are part-owned by the tycoon.

NBC bosses followed suit on Monday (29Jun15) and the former Desperate Housewives star has congratulated their decision, writing on social network Whosay.com, "Thank you @nbc for respecting the Latino community and all of those who were painted by the broad brush of Donald Trump."

Trump has not apologised for his comments, and called NBC "so weak and so foolish" for their actions.
