Eva Mendes jokes that for Valentine's Day she will watch her boyfriend's tearjerker film 'The Notebook, and puts to bed any pregnancy rumors, in a recent appearance on the 'Ellen DeGeneres Show'.
Eva Mendes joked about her upcoming Valentine's Day plans and addressed speculation that she is pregnant with her first child.
The 39 year-old actress joins the legion of rom-com fans who got teary-eyed at 2004 flick, 'The Notebook', but maybe it is just hard for her to watch her beau, Ryan Gosling, kiss another women (co-star Rachel McAdams).
While stopping by the 'Ellen DeGeneres Show' this pat Wednesday (Feb 12th), Mendes was quizzed about her upcoming plans on the most romantic day of the year.
"I'm not a big Valentine's Day person. I'll probably just order a deep dish and watch 'The Notebook' or something," she jokingly told Ellen.
"Just cry, weep," she added.
Gosling and Mendes, who both co-starred in 'Plane Beyond The Pines' in 2012, have been dating since 2011 but there has been speculation that they separated due to the pair not being photographed together since October of last year (2013).
The 'Hitch' actress also addressed more rumors surrounding her personal life, referring to news that she is pregnant, but claims this story stemmed from a visit by airport security.
Mendes explained, "It's so ridiculous. Because it all started because I was didn't want to go through the scanners at the airport."
"You know those X-ray scanners, which are really creepy. They basically see you naked, right, and not only that, but there's a radiation aspect to it, so I always opt out. I always ask for a personal pat down," she continued.
Ellen jokingly interrupted to ask, "Alright, do you want to say is it a boy or a girl you're pregnant with?"
"Oh god, no no no! No!" she sternly replied.
