Celebrities tend to think it’s okay to take naked pictures of themselves and put them on the Internet. The thought process is a difficult one to fathom, but enough of them do it do suggest that the vast majority are idiots, attention seekers or quasi prostitutes with no self worth.

Evan Rachel Wood's unborn child sure has a story to tell his or her college buddies in years to come. The two-time Golden Globe nominee is expecting her first child with husband Jamie Bell, and showed off her baby bump at the Tribeca Film Festival on Monday (April 22, 2013).

The 25-year-old starlet tweeted, "Me and @KatCoiro just had our babies blessed by @snoopdogg today. No big deal" before posting a snap of herself and director Kat Coiro (also pregnant) with Snoop Dogg himself. The hip-hop superstar was at the film festival to promote his new album Reincarnated. Rachel Wood and Coiro glowed as they posed with the hip-hop superstar in Tribeca's press room. Snoop also had time to pose with actor Justin Long, who appeared equally as delighted to be in the presence of the man himself.

Of course, Evan Rachel Wood was attending the festival to promote her new movie A Case of You, which premiered Sunday night. It follows the story of a young writer who lures a girl online based on his embellished profile. The movie also stars Peter Dinklage, Sienna Miller, Sam Rockwell, Vince Vaughn, Brendan Fraser and Busy Philipps.

Tribeca Film Festival: Protestors Denied Entry To Gasland Part II Premiere [Pictures]

Tribeca Film Festival Evan Rachel Wood

The Tribeca Film Festival began in inauspicious circumstances over the weekend, with a group of protestors to attempting to attend the premiere screening of Gasland Part II only to be denied entry. However, a debate over the exact reason was still raging on Monday with protestors saying they were thrown out for asking difficult questions, while the festival's organizers say the screening was full.

Gasland Part II, directed by Josh Fox, is the follow-up to the well-received 2010 documentary Gasland, exploring the environmental impact of natural gas drilling and hydraulic fracking. The protest group that tried to attend the screening included 20 farmers and laborers from Pennsylvania and upstate New York as well as Phelim McAleer, a journalist whose work includes 'FrankNation' a film that disputes the findings in Gasland.

In a statement, McAleer said that he and protestors were barred "by a barrage of security officers" because they tried to ask the director Mr Fox "some inconvenient questions when he was on the red carpet."

Shia LaBeouf And Evan Rachel Wood In The Necessary Death Of Charlie Countryman - A "Karmic Connection"

Shia LaBeouf Evan Rachel Wood

Shia LaBeouf and Evan Rachel Wood star in The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman - a dark story of love unfolding between two unlikely people set in the Romanian capital, Bucharest.

"Love is always the easiest answer, but somehow it's the hardest place to get for some people. I love the contrast of this world, which is filled with violence and hatred and crime, and above all there's love," Wood said to Reuters.

Director Fredrick Bond decided to plump for Bucharest as it wasn't a backdrop well trodden by film makers. "Charlie has to go through quite a tough journey and a very romantic journey, so I needed a city that had an edge," he said."It's almost this karmic connection, this kindred spirit, this soulmate of some sort, where he looks at her and he immediately falls in love. He's never said a word to her - that really happens. That's how I met my husband," Wood said. "We fell in love immediately, because it was almost meant to be, it was fate."

Shia LaBeouf Acid Trip Not Just A Rumour - Footage Shared With Evan Rachel Wood

Shia LaBeouf Evan Rachel Wood

Everyone’s been talking about that Shia LaBeouf acid trip rumour, so what exactly DID LaBeouf get up to when he was filming The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman? Well, Shia left no stone unturned when it came to researching his character, Charlie Countryman. In this case, that extended to taking acid, so that he could experience the psychedelic drug taken by the character. He was quick to assure the press at the Sundance Festival, though, that he did not drop any acid on set, but left his research purely for down time, Wenn reports.

As with any other research he’d do for the character, Shia discussed his findings with his co-stars and even sent Evan Rachel Wood footage of him whilst he was high. “I remember sending Evan tapes. I remember trying to conjure this (drug-addicted character) and sending tapes and Evan being like, 'Yeah, that's good, but that's not, but this is, but that ain't (sic).' Not like she's the expert on set. I'm just saying you reach out to friends and you sort of gauge where you're at. So I was sending tapes around.”

Apparently, one acid trip wasn’t quite enough to get all of that research done and LaBeouf found himself getting high more than once, in order to nail the performance. He was careful not to let it spill onto the set though. “You don't show up wasted. You don't show up completely tripping on acid. But you're rooting for something (the feeling of being on drugs) and you're pushing yourself toward it. Everyone's got their own way.”

The Next Hollywood Baby Will Belong To Evan Rachel Wood And Jamie Bell

Evan Rachel Wood Jamie Bell

Babies, babies, babies are everywhere!

The latest Hollywood lady to announce that she is preggers has been Evan Rachel Wood. Her and husband of three months Jamie Bell have confirmed that they do, in fact, have one on the way. Apparently the rumours of the actress being pregnant back in November weren’t completely off the mark – well, just by a couple of months anyway.

Unlike a lot of their fellow celebrities, the pair didn’t break the news over Twitter or another social network, opting instead for an official statement. Perhaps it’s because they’ve been burned by the rumour mill before? The 25-year-old actress’ rep confirmed the news and commented that “the couple is thrilled”, E!News reports. No other details about the sex of the baby or due date have been revealed, however Evan has been gushing over Twitter ever since the news was revealed. We hope everyone remembers their gift ideas for the baby shower. Though maybe that’s best left to a personal shopper. Regardless, it looks like it’s good news all around. 2013 is shaping up to be a big year for the expecting parents and we’d wish them and the future addition to the family all the best this year.

Evan Rachel Wood And Jamie Bell Are Having A Baby!

Evan Rachel Wood Jamie Bell

Evan Rachel Wood and husband Jamie Bell have announced that they are having a baby, US Weekly reports, with a representative for the pregnant actress revealing that yes, they are "expecting their first child later this year,"

Wood and her Brit-actor beau Bell tied the knot in secret in October last year, and it didn't take long for the pregnancy rumours to emerge. Pictures began to circulate in early November showing the actress with a suspected baby bump, but alas they proved to be premature, til now. Evan tweeted in November: "Sorry to disappoint. But no baby on the way here!" Now then, the word is (from her rep): "Evan Rachel Wood and husband Jamie Bell confirmed that they are expecting their first child later this year."

The two met in 2005 after co-starring together in the video for Green Day's 'Wake Me Up When September Ends' video, they started to date shortly after. Although the two ended up splitting in 2006 they eventually got back together in the summer of 2011 with Bell getting on one knee and the two making things official in 2012. The child will be the pair's first and as you would expect, the rep confirmed: "the couple is thrilled."

Thirteen Review

OK
You can't argue that the film Thirteen doesn't know its teenagers. It gets all the obsessions and silly little dramas just right - the autobiographical script was written by one of the film's stars when she herself was thirteen - but just knowing the milieu isn't always going to create gripping drama.

After an opening scene in which 13-year-old Tracy (Evan Rachel Wood) and her friend Evie (Nikki Reed, the writer) suck gas from a can of compressed air, laugh hysterically, and slap each other senseless, Thirteen flashes back to four months earlier, in order that we can get an idea of how Tracy got this way. Tracy's family situation is nothing spectacular, what with a distant father who only occasionally pays child support and a flaky mom (Holly Hunter) who scrapes by as a hairdresser and keeps letting Brady, her former cokehead boyfriend (Jeremy Sisto), sleep over. Her life seems pretty dull and irritating, so when Tracy ditches her nerdy friends to suck up to Evie, the lead Heather in the school's hottest clique, it makes an adolescent kind of sense. But when that friendship quickly morphs into an unending stream of shoplifting and drinking, Tracy also starts lashing out at her mother and pretty much everyone else around her, except Evie, who has essentially moved herself into Tracy's bedroom.

Weak

Beneath the uncanny, inevitable and seemingly shrewd facade of the movie-biz farce "Simone" -- about a computer-generated actress taking Hollywood by storm because nobody knows she's not real -- lies a plot cobbled together from largely flat and uncreative moments.

The brainchild of inventive and otherworldly writer-director Andrew Niccol ("Gattaca," "The Truman Show" screenplay), who plucked the picture's concept out of the film industry's paranoid collective subconscious, "Simone" stars Al Pacino as Viktor Taransky, a washed-up and somewhat neurotic director whose last chance at making a big studio film has just walked off the set along with his petulant leading lady (Winona Ryder in a cameo).

But just as he envisions his career going off a cliff, a dying wacko computer genius and Taransky fan (Elias Koteas) brings the director a computer hard drive containing the culmination of his life's work: a program that creates a near-perfect, completely malleable, realistic simulation of beautiful girl. Called Simone (a contraction of Simulation One), in the confines of a computer she can walk, talk, flirt and cry with a single keystroke. She has a database of famous actresses' best performances to draw from for mannerisms and moods. She's utterly at Taransky's control and, of course, her fabricated "performances" can be digitally inserted into any scene of his movie, any way he chooses.
