Evan Rachel Wood And Jamie Bell Welcome Their First Child - It's A Boy!

Evan Rachel Wood gave birth to a son with her husband Jamie Bell. The couple's representative made the announcement on Sunday 29th July.

The couple first began dating in 2005 and they married in October 2012. They announced their pregnancy in January of this year and their son was born around 30th July, although the exact birthdate or the child's name is yet to be released. The baby is their first child. 

The birth was confirmed by Wood's representative on Sunday 29th. Speaking to People, the representative said Wood had given birth to a "beautiful" boy and that "parents and baby are all doing well". 

Bell and Wood have since tweeted about the birth. Bell described his wife as his "warrior" and said she "never cease to amaze". He went on to thank her for "birthing our son for naturally and peacefully". In response Woods returned the compliment and thanked Bell for "being there and helping me through it". She further gushed to her husband and new son: "I love you both more than words can say."

Wood is best known for her roles in True Blood as Queen Sophie; The Ides of March and The Wrestler. Whilst Bell who made his on-screen debut aged 14 in Billy Elliot has since appeared in a number of films including King Kong, Jumper and Man on a Ledge.
