Ashlee Simpson and her actor husband Evan Ross, whom she just tied the knot last August, announced that they were expecting their first child together at the beginning of this month, and the son of Diana Ross couldn't be happier.

During an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show on Thursday (Feb 19th), Ross opened up about being married to the pop star and the prospect of becoming a father for the first time. He also admitted, unlike Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, the happy couple won't be naming their soon-to-be daughter after a fruit.

"We got a few ideas but we're keeping that for us," he said about naming their unborn child. "It's not going to be Apple or Orange or anything like that. It's going to be different though."

Although Ross is looking forward to being a father for the first time, he has already had some practise with his wife's 5 year-old son, Bronx, whom she shares with ex-husband and Fall Out Boy bassist, Pete Wentz.

"It's amazing. I can't even tell you how incredible that child is," the 'Hunger Games' actor gushed to Williams.

"He's been a blessing in my life and I've learned so much from him," Ross added. "He's my friend, we became like homies. He was so excited we got married. He was at the wedding, I was like 'This is just as much your wedding as ours!'" Congratulations to the happy couple!
