Rapper Eve will shun a traditional bachelorette party to celebrate her upcoming wedding by trekking through five countries in seven days in an international motor rally.

The hip-hop star met her British fiance Maximillion Cooper at his Gumball 3000 rally event in London in 2010, and the couple will return to the motor competition ahead of the wedding in June (14).

The pair will drive in separate cars from the starting point in Miami, Florida and stop in cities such as London and Edinburgh, Scotland, where Cooper proposed to Eve on Christmas Day last year (13). They will travel 3,000 miles (4,828 kilometres) through five countries in seven days to reach their destination - the Spanish Island of Ibiza, where the couple will marry.

Cooper, the founder of the motoring event, says, "The idea of driving 3,000 miles all the way from Miami to get to our wedding in Ibiza sounds pretty crazy, but we met on the Gumball back in 2010 when Eve participated as a celebrity guest of Puma. So incorporating the rally into our wedding plans seemed to be appropriate.

"I think the drama of this adventure suits our lives and driving together with 100 other supercars will undoubtedly be a lot of fun,

especially as these six days will double up as my bachelor week! Incorporating Edinburgh into the route and stopping off in London just adds to the romanticism, having met in London and proposed on Christmas Day in Edinburgh... I can't wait!"
