Faith No More are hitting the road again

The California rockers returned last year with their first single since 1998's 'I Started a Joke', which featured on their Platinum compilation album 'Who Cares a Lot?', entitled 'Motherf**ker' for Record Store Day's Black Friday and now they are set to unveil a brand new single, 'Superhero', as they gear up to release their currently untitled next album. The album will mark the follow-up to their Australian number one 'Album of the Year', released in 1997, and will be released on Reclamation Recordings.

Meanwhile, Faith No More will set out on their world tour beginning in February, with shows in the UK, Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand, and North America. The tour includes appearances at some of the biggest rock festivals in the world and marks their first dates in the US since 2010.

'Here we go', announced the band's bassist and upcoming album's producer Billy Gould. 'First North American tour dates, some in cities we haven't played in over 17 years. We are armed with the new material and ready for whatever comes our way.'

Following the fan club pre-sale earlier this week, tickets for the tour have been made available today (January 20th 2015).

A limited edition single of 'Superhero' will be released on March 17th 2015, with the digital release scheduled for March 31st.
