Contactmusic caught up with bassist Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy as they hit Leeds Fest 2013 to talk about returning from their hiatus and their new album 'Save Rock and Roll'.
Talking about being back at Leeds Fest, Pete admits they're 'excited to be back' but reveals it was a struggle to adapt to the UK when they first came over. 'There's just subtle nuances that are a little different', he says. He also believes that the band having a strained relationship with each other sometimes can be beneficial. 'I think good art comes with tension', he explains. 'Any songs we've done that have like really mattered to us and mattered to anyone else have come as a product of some of that tension.' Talking about the collaborations on the album, he reveals: 'My favourite song is 'Just One Yesterday'; that's the one we did with Foxes which was a lot of fun.'
