Heavyweight rapper Fat Joe is cashing in on his love of food by launching a seafood restaurant in his native New York.
The Lean Back star has teamed up with chef Mark Thomas to open the Caribbean-inspired Express in the Bronx, the first in a chain of eateries.
And Fat Joe is hoping to build on his food venture and take it to the small screen to share his favourite recipes with fans.
He says, "I'm working on a cooking show... Who else can you trust other than Fat Joe to tell you what food is good or not?
"Me and my guy Chef Mark - he's an incredible chef - we got that studio audience, we got that band, we gonna bring guys like Lil Wayne, your favourite rapper, and we gonna to ask him what's his favourite dish and we gonna make it for him."
The hip-hop star isn't the only rapper to delve into the culinary world - Sean 'Diddy' Combs is the brains behind Justin's restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia, and Jay-Z co-owns the 40/40 sports bar franchise, while Coolio airs his own cooking segments online.
