Danny Bryce, an ex special ops agent who was considered one of the best in the world, is a retired member of Britain's Special Air Service (SAS). He is looking forward to spending his days not doing a lot, when he hears that his former mentor, Hunter, has been taken hostage by his arch enemy, Spike. As well as this, Spike has also dispatched three trained assassins - known as 'The Clinic' - to kill Danny, to stop him rescuing Hunter.

Danny is forced out of his retirement to rescue his mentor and get rid of Spike's mercenaries along the way. He travels to Australia, Paris, the Middle East, Dubai and London with his reassembled team of operatives to track down Spike, including an attractive blonde, Anne, whom Danny falls for.

Killer Elite is based on the novel by Sir Ranulph Fiennes, which alleged to be based on true events. The majority of filming took place in Melbourne, Australia and Cardiff, Wales.
